So far this has held up against urine and vomit. Like, so much vomit. I think the key is to get it off the mattress sooner rather than later. I assume other reviewers who said it didn't work were not made aware of their child's accident until the morning and it had time to sink through. We were able to clean up within a few minutes with both accidents so I think that might be why it worked so well. It has been well worth the cost and then some. Not too loud either, which is a definite plus.

My dog has incontinence issues and the medication makes her aggressive so we have been trying to be diligent in frequent potty breaks instead of medication. But evening and rainy days are hard so I decided to purchase these for my couch. Perfect fit for a standard size couch. Easy to clean and since it is a pack of two, if she does have an accident (that does NOT leak through to the couch!!) I can recover with one and wash the other. Great fit, excellent waterproof capability and with blankets on top you don't even know it's on the couch!

Great protection for a twin mattress. I was looking to avoid those pricey options and this seemed to be a pretty good solution. Seems to keep the mattress in good condition and has avoided any spills or accidents that would normally ruin a bed.

This was a great deal and worked well for the first year, but after many nighttime accidents and washes, it’s lost its waterproof qualities. I wash it on cold and on a permanent press cycle. I often even air dry it if I have the time. I think a physical barrier is better than whatever product is on this fabric.
