Love these pink sponges. They are supposed to be the least abrasive of all the sponges though they still work great for every day pots pans and dishes without scratching anything. I do think they will lightly mar your stainless if you use enough force and repetition so be careful if you care about your pots being perfect. They last as long as other 3m/scotch sponges. Very useful for a variety of uses, well sized to fit into your hand without slipping. Highly recommended! Cost wise Amazon sells them for a decent value. No strange smells but wash thoroughly at first use in case they are shipped with fungicides like other sponges.
