40%. And it will sting if you get it on your skin. I use this product as part of a Retro-Brite process for restoring old computer hardware to it's original color. It is recommended to wear latex gloves for protection and safety googles when using this product.

Is it a thick, creamy consistency or thinner? Thanks!

I use it to bleach bone for taxidermy which it works great for. But the consistency is more on the thinner side. Not a paste that holds shape but not runny like soup. A in between.

How many bottles of this would it take to submerge a bull elk skull?

It depends on how big that bull elk skull is. But it’s a big bottle I used it 4!times to dye my hair and I still have a lot left and my hair is down to my butt I’m 5’7
