if applied to football gloves does it start to peel after first catches?

Not really. You will notice it decreases tackiness over time but just spit on your gloves and the tackiness should come back. And it doesnt peel off, just kind of dissipates.

How long does it last on your football gloves

A good hour or so before you would need to reapply or pour water on your gloves. If the football has dirt on it, then the tackiness on the gloves will decrease much faster

Can you put it on the bottom of basketball shoes to help with slick wood courts?

All I could tell you is we use it to spray our hands and tape on a pole vault pole to help with grip. It is sticky. I've never used it on a bottom of shoe but it does come out sticky. I wouldn't know how long it would last or what it does over time on shoe and floor
