I wanted a warning beacon for my UTV because I plow snow with it and I have to drive in the street when I do it. I didn’t want a full size light bar because it has to come off in the spring and isn’t worth the money. Yes, there were other similar beacons on Amazon that were cheaper, but this one I feel is the best value for your money. The cord is nice and long with 2 switches built into the plug. Handy for changing modes and turning the light on and off. The outer shell of the light seems to be durable enough and unscrews to clean the interior or fix something. The magnets were strong enough to hold on to metal by themselves, but I added a few extra because this needed to stick through a fabric top. I was really pleased to see that the LEDs in this light actually strobe on and off. Other LED beacons just turn the LEDs on and off so they are not very bright. This one is plenty bright for my needs. I don’t have the ability to measure the output. But at night, up close it’s hard to look at when it is going and it lights up my neighbor’s house across the street. So bright enough for what I need it for. I can’t comment on the long term use yet, but so far I am happy with my purchase and see no reason why someone else won’t be either. It’s good value for your money, reasonably built and bright enough to actually be seen a block away.

I work road construction and sometimes I have to take my personal vehicle to the job site. We have various different styles of safety lights on our fleet of trucks and equipment, including a few this style. I can tell you that this light is as bright, if not brighter than the $100+ whelen lights we have on our bobcats, and small trucks. After seeing my new light and hearing how much I paid for it, our owner asked where I got it so he can order 10 for the fleet and equipment . The cord is flat, and long enough to not have to use an extension. I ran it from under my dash, down the center of the floor, across the rear floor, up the door jam, and across the roof to the back half of the roof on a full size car if that helps. I will mention that you should not use the foam protector on the bottom of the light, throw it away! It serves no purpose because it keeps the magnet from making good contact, and even without it the magnet is all that makes contact anyways on the bottom of the light. Without the foam I have driven 75mph plus and it hasn't moved at all. The plug is a little tight but very well made, the same quality as the ones on our $300 light bars on our bigger trucks. The various flash patterns are also nice. As far as durability, I have been using this light for roughly a month. It is lit 6 days a week with it flashing from 8-12 hours a day and have had zero issues. Well worth the money, great buy.

I am very satisfied with this product and yes it is very bright. Especially at night time when visibility is really needed in a situation where you may have limited light on a road with No Street Lights or tree coverage which blocks noon light. Safety is about being seen and warning others of a potential safety problem that may exist just ahead that they are not aware of. This product allows for warning oncoming traffic of hazards or danger that may exist. I would highly recommend this product to viewers. Most states allow for use of Amber Strobe or Flashing lights, but check for the laws in your area. If your laws allow for use of this particular Flashing Strobe as Caution Warning to oncoming vehicles of a problem. You should truly consider a purchase. It has 17 flash patterns which is highly useful and is magnetic mount or can be made permanent mount. I chose magnetic so it can be removed when finished using. Family should be our most important thought and Their Safety should be number one goal. Buy safety equipment for each vehicle and get use to each piece of equipment purchased. Should have an adequate First Aid Kit, Reflective Triangles, Flashing Beacon Light, and at least a 5 lb Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher. May I say, go to your nearest Fire Department and take a course in proper use of Fire Extinguishers for Home and Auto, you will be glad you did. Hope this helps everyone.

I used the light on my snow plow/dump truck. I like the magnetic attachment because most of the year it is stored in the toolbox. I wish the light was brighter and bigger but it does the job. For the price, it was a good deal.

Does exactly what it’s designed for, cheap price and now people see me in the construction sight…haven’t got hit yet lol.

I bought a couple of these beacons to driving around on an airfield. They were nice and bright, and there are several options for the strobe pattern you want. They are also quiet. I've had some beacons that make a lot of noise for some reason. The magnet that holds the light in place is strong, and I was never worried about it blowing off, but I never drove over 50mph with the light on the car. The cord is really long, and I was able to run it down behind and around under the passenger seat to the outlet. Passengers could get in and out of the car without getting caught in the cord. This is a good beacon, especially for the price.

OK, got this for my employee who drives around a mid-size parking lot for security. This light is surprising a great little light. It is bright, of course much brighter at night but brighter then expected during the day. It appears to be very durable and the price is the best deal for this type of light. There are about 14 different flash patterns with a toggle switch on the power cord you plug into a standard cigarette outlet. I don't recall seeing another product with these options. It is made of a durable hard plastic. Overall, if I need another one I would buy again.
