Smooth and vibrant
The Lamy violet ink is beautiful and glides on the page with a medium nib. I'm using it in the light blue Lamy Safari fountain pen. This combo has become my go-to for any note taking, or just writing in general because of its smooth glide and nice color. I do write more notes because I enjoy writing with it. I have the red ink in a red Safari and it is scratchy and the color less vibrant. This violet is my favorite ink.

Does the job, much better than messing with bottles of ink and subsequent spills
Very easy to install and make filling a fountain pen with ink much less of a hassle when compared to a bottle and refiller. It takes some effort to get it to break the seal of the cartridge when inserting into the pen. There is an audible pop which means the cartridge is secure.
