Works just like it should heavy duty belt has no problem punching through a couple layers of drop ceiling runners

Ceiling grid punch
As a professional acoustic (drop) ceiling installer I can say this works great.Goes threw wall angle and main easily at the same time .The price is right compared to Whitney punches at $50 and up. Light weight and fits just right in the hand. I did switch the tips around (easy to do 10mm wrench ) because of the way I hold the tool . It does leave a bit of grid connected as it's not a real hole punch but the rivet fits great and no one will ever know.

Good tool.
They probably do a great job for what the tool is intended for. However I modified the tool to assist me to keep rivet sets in place before I bucked them. The tool is very sturdy and is comfortable to handle.

Works as it should
I never did rivets before but this product made the job easy. Seems to be a quality product and had no problem using it on my drop ceiling.

Hole is not clean
When u punch a hole through the drop ceiling grid it leaves a burr sticking out. Other hole punchers leave a clean hole.

Makes short work of ceiling grid riveting!
Bought this to help rivet a drop ceiling grid together - The punch seems to be high quality, was priced really well, and is making short work of the job. Very happy with the ease of use and the results!
