I love the size. I love that I can take it upstairs, downstairs and on the deck to listen to my favorite music.Yes, I still listen to CD’s. I was delighted to find CD player. The fidelity of the sound coming out of the speakers is perfect for my needs. I am not a purist when it comes to the machine I use to listen. I do not need high dollar equipment to listen to music while I am sewing or reading or relaxing.It has AM/FM radio. While there are not a large number of stations where I live (rural) I can get a few AM STATIONS and 4-5 FM stations - if I want to catch the news or the weather reports.It runs AC and comes with a power cord with enough length one is not required to have it right next to an outlet. If the power is out or you want to take it outside on a sunny day-it uses a half dozen 9-volt batteries.For what it is- the pricing is excellent. I like it.

I bought this for my 84 yo father who wants to listen to his CDs easily (no disc changer, no remote you misplaced, no confusing controls, etc). Even with dementia, he is able to use this to listen to his music. It is lightweight enough to carry from room to room, sounds great, and a great deal for the price. What more could you want?

The CD player did not work after only a few days. Would not buy this brand again. Bought another, but a named brand. Very disappointed sent it back for a refund

After a couple of weeks, the CD player started buzzing constantly, even when turned off. My daughter continued to use it because Amazon would only accept a return with the original packaging. Then, a couple of weeks later, it completely stopped working.

It takes a few days for the plug to stay in the back of the machine. Thats not a problem. Although I do wonder why the manufacturer does not simply make the plug part of the product. What's the benefit? I don't know. Alright, I like the radio. I like the volume. I like the CD player, I have to push down for the CD to be seated properly. I don't mind. It took me several times to find this one. One would think buying a small boom box there would be no problems. I like this product and will enjoy it for many years to come. Thank you, Mark

I purchased this CD/radio for my father who still uses CDs at 99 years old. The sound quality is okay and gets the job done. The compact size allows him to move and store it easily. Without Bluetooth capabilities it suits his needs.

I bought this for my 80 year old dad. He loves his music. This was easy to use and the sound is great. He is very pleased and gets to enjoy his CD's all day long.

Bought for three reasons.#1 to plug into a regular house outlet for my patio outside (not to blast my near neighbors). #2 batteries for our inevitable power outages, especially in winter., And #3 portability ,easily fit in a cupboard . Now the sound. I have been listening to Meatloaf today and now some Enrique while I write this and I am so pleased. I have absolutely no regrets!
