Summer Infant 28034 Best View Silicone Protector

I have zero experience with baby monitors, but someone suggested I get one to keep an eye on my elderly mother at night (we live in a duplex and she's alone in her unit). It was super simple to set up and I am very impressed with how well this works! It picks up noises very well, so I can hear if anything is amiss in the night. I set one up in her bedroom and keep the monitor unit on my nightstand. The first couple of nights - having no experience with this stuff - I left the video on and the volume turned up and, naturally, I couldn't sleep!! I was on "high alert." But then I realized I didn't need the video left on and turned the volume low and, as I got used to the "regular" noises, I was able to relax and sleep - knowing if she fell or needed me in the night I would definitely hear her and wake up. Highly recommended for anyone in a similar situation with an elderly parent!

This was the only protector i found for my baby monitor. i had to get a new monitor and I wanted something to protect it from falls and bumps. It fits the monitor perfectly; however, i do wish there were something out there a little more like an otter case for it. It does have all the open portals for the charger, volume, speaker, and power buttons. It's better than nothing...

Protector didn't fit the monitor right! It didn't have an opening where the speaker was to talk into and where you press to speak into the monitor also didn't have a opening. Seemed like it was for another model

The product is fine, except that the button cutouts on the sides are in the wrong places. I have a Best View monitor, but I ended up having to cut my own holes (and there are extra holes where I don't need them).

Makes the product very bulky, we ended up not using it at all. Waste or money for us.

Used this monitor with our first child without the silicone sleeve. Got dropped by the in-laws and the screen cracked and died. With the new one we're using on kid #2 have installed this silicone case. It's not an otterbox but it is better than the naked alternative.

This silicone protector is perfect for the Best View monitor. The grip is great to keep it from sliding off a surface and it is cut to allow easy access to all the buttons. When you invest so much in a monitoring system, spend the few extra dollars to protect it. No complaints or concerns.

It is a great cover, just make sure you get the right model #. I was not aware that my camera/monitor came in different models (the name matches) so the holes don't match the buttons. It is disappointing, but my fault. I wish it had been more clear!
