The product is easy to use. I like the fact that it turns on when you pull out the probe and turns off automatically when not in use for a few minutes or when you put the probe back to its “close” position. It also has a backlit to see better. In addition, you can either put in on your fridge (as it is magnetic) or hang it (it comes with a clip). I wasn’t even aware that it functions as a bottle opener too. I don’t know how I missed that in the ad picture, but maybe it was because I was just happy to see 5 star reviews on an item that I needed that I didn’t pay attention to anything else. The thermometer even comes with an extra battery (one is already preinstalled). I am happy with the product.

Very easy to use thermometer. Definitely feel that it is more accurate than my old manual. The thermometer has a magnet so it can be mounted on the grill or fridge (held fine on the grill but was too heavy for the fridge). Auto-on when you extend the probe. Comes with an easy to read chart of various meat temperatures. There is a bottle opener on the end of the thermometer - another added convenience.

During 2020 I was forced to learn how to cook, little by little I've been getting kitchen essentials for better dishes and this is one of them. A friend recommended it since both me and my husband love steaks, but not at the same term. This allows me to get the medium term I prefer and his well done, without literally burning it.It's very easy to use and brings the batteries, which is always a plus.

I bought this for my wife, but I use it also while grilling. The built-in magnet makes it convenient to place and store on any steel surface. Temperatures are within .3 degrees when calibrating with analog thermometer.

This is a great thermometer - it replaced an older one that I had to hold close to the heat in order to get a good reading. Easy to use!

I really like this thermometer - i use it for many things mostly making yogurt. It is sleek, lightweight and accurate with several more features than just temperature readings. The large display screen is extremely helpful. I have tried several other thermometers in the past and YTE far exceeds them all. Thanks for a well made product!!

The thermometer is top heavy so it does not stay upright in the pot. The probe is too long for a 1.5 quart saucepan, and too short for a 4 quart saucepan. The mounting piece that goes goes on the side of the pot is not adjustable.. As the temperature went up, the numbers on the thermometer got harder to read. As my candy was approaching near 300°f, the screen started turning black and the numbers became illegible. This product is not for making candy!
