Cozy, Comfy, Inviting
Like that it is 100% cotton, like the patch work, like the colors, and it feels soft and light. Love the cotton keeps warm and balances body heat for winter or summer. Looks good too! This is my second purchase . Purchased the King so to have a full drop on all sides of my Queen bed. Love the King shames give a nice full look when bed is made up looks finished with nice full throw pillows at headboard. Have a fleece sherpa/velvet folded blanket at foot which really completes the look and patchwork blanket looks like heirloom quilt-cozy, comfy and inviting. .

Great item, nice fabric, just as pictured :) Very attractive set !
We ordered the King size quilt set for our Queen bed because we wanted it to hang down the sides a bit more than the coverage the queen size offered. Use the measurements given and compare to what's on your bed now to see where it would sit on your bed. The King quilt hangs down the sides about 20" and covers the mattress plus about half the box spring. It could be used at the 'head' to tuck under the pillows but we chose to let it hang down the 'foot' a bit longer. The 'foot' corners almost touch the floor. Of course, the down side to ordering the different size is that the two King size shams included are larger than our queen pillows. I will probably cut those down to size or make them into throw pillows. Our quilt came with a lovely yellow/blue/green/lavender floral print on the back side which is very pretty. It is the same fabric used in some of the front squares and also the binding around the edge. I am a sewer and this fabric is a nice cotton, not super-thin as some reviews stated so perhaps the company upgraded :) I also noted that the seam allowance looks at least 1/4" (I can see the shadow of a darker fabric through some of the lighter squares). Many times, the imported quilts use barely a 1/8" seam and these rip, shrink and unravel so quickly. This quilt is built sturdier than that, I'm happy to say. The colors are muted. For some, that would not be a good thing, I guess, but we prefer the softer look. It has a cottage or old fashioned look to it. I don't like super brightly-colored quilts that scream, "New" and often the fabrics are stiff as well. This quilt has muted, vibrant colors and has a washed feel and look. It did not have a 'new' or 'chemical' smell; just clean. The quilt set came in a zippered plastic bag that can be reused. We like the vermicelli or meandering stitch of the quilting. They are long stitches but secure and stitching lines are about 1-2" apart so there is no pulling or floating of the back and front pieces. The thickness is 1/4-1/2" which is the look of a handmade quilt and not a puffy comforter. It is not heavy but does insulate as well as a thicker one we were using. We have used this set just a week, but it totally transformed the look of our bedroom and we are very pleased with it. I did not wash it before using. Due to the size, we will use a jumbo washing machine at the laundromat when the time comes. All in all, I can only say good things about this set. We are happy with the price, delivery time, colors, size and look of it. By the way, we saw this same set on ebay for more $$ so we're glad we shopped around and ordered at Amazon.

Pretty quilt
I love this quilt set. The quality is great, with a good heavy cotton feel. The colors are very nice, with an old vintage quilt look. The only negative thing I can say is the king size isn't big enough to cover my bed well. Bit, I do have thick mattresses so that doesn't help. I just pull it down on the side of the bed that shows more & it's shorter on the side closer to the wall. I'm glad I purchased it.

It was exactly what I wanted!
I ordered this for our new spare room. I loved the pattern from the moment I saw it. I didn't see it here first, I saw it 3 other places, and all of them were much higher in price, and didn't include the throw pillows. I expected a color shift from the photos, but it was true to what I saw online. Very peaceful, light, muted colors that all mesh well together. The quilt is a nice medium-light weight. Enough that it will be good in winter with a blanket and in summer with just a top sheet. I can't vouch for how soft it will be, since I haven't washed it yet, but it seems like the kind of material that will soften upon a good couple of washes. The shams are good quality, but they tie in the back. Nothing bad, just unexpected. Kinda cute to go with the cute quilt, but you'll never see the bows, lol. The only thing I'm a bit disappointed in is the throw pillows. They are REALLY thin and lightweight. They are cute, but thought they would have more substance to them. All in all, I would definitely recommend this bed set! Now that the college age kiddo has moved out, the bed will stay made and I can really enjoy just looking at it as I pass by the room and know that there is a sweet, peaceful room for her to come visit!

Very Pretty Quilt
I absolutely love this quilt by Greenland Home. This is the second time that I have owed this particular quilt. My first was in a queen size. This is a king quilt that i recently purchased..It fits my bed perfectly, with enough coverage on both sides of the bed. I do however also use a white eyelet bed skirt, which looks great with the quilt.I am very satisfied with the quality and the weight. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. I also love the floral patterns. The quilt works well in the Spring and Winter months with a blanket underneath. The quilt is all cotton and breathable which is very nice. Will be adding matching curtains and shower curtain.

Good for the Price, but...
This is a good set and certainly a great value for the money at $59.99 for the full/queen. However, I noticed right off that the fabric on the back of the pillow shams appears to be less durable than I would have liked. It definitely has a very low thread count. If you hold it up to a light, I'd say that around 40% or more of the light comes through, and it's not particularly soft. My experience tells me that this is low quality fabric. Given the price of the set, I probably would have expected that, but the rave reviews had me thinking that the fabric might be a little better quality. This is the same print, and I suspect the exact same fabric that is on the reverse side of the quilt, which indicates to me that the entire quilt is crafted of fabric of this quality, even though it is harder to tell the weight of the fabric in the quilt, since it is backed and quilted and the back of the sham is not. However, I should confess that I am not a quilt expert by any stretch of the imagination, and this may be standard weight for quilting fabric, but it is thinner and rougher than another quilt I have, plus I am a stickler on fabric quality in general. This fabric has the weight and feel of an inexpensive voile, in my opinion. Nevertheless the stitching is tight and abundant and the quilt is very, very pretty. All in all, I feel that this set is a good value. I expect that it will last for many years if properly cared for. I would recommend this set to a friend, along with a disclaimer about the quality of the fabric.

Smooth and cozy!
I have several Greenland quilts of different styles and sizes. I find them all to be very good quilts. Because I use them on beds my 3 year old boys sleep on, they end up getting washed often and take about as much of a beating as quilts can (from getting jumped on, spilled on, washed and dried on harsher cycles repeatedly) and they really stand up well. They are in great shape as good as the day I bought them. I also like the styles, but of course that's a personal choice. All I can really say there is you basically get what you see in the picture style wise (which isn't always true when ordering online products). So, either you like it or you don't. Up to you. But, no surprises. The weight and warmth is also about right. It's not too heavy or too light, but of course your personal opinion may vary. The "feel" is smooth and cozy. That's actually one of things my boys and I like about them. They definitely prefer these quilts over our other quilts and ask what happened to the quilt they like if it's in the wash or something (which is why I have so many). The only other tip I have is on length. I think the length is great. There is no short changing the size and it's more than enough to comfortably use every night and feel like you have plenty of cover that isn't going to slip off you. But, if you want something that has more of a floor length look (like in the pictures) you really want to buy one size too big. For example, a King size quilt for a queen size bed. I think the size is great for the actual bed as is, though. All in all, a great quilt, which is why I own a bunch of them!

Lovely and worth every penny!
I love everything about this quilt. The colors are rich without being jarring. The floral patterns in the printed "patches" are beautiful and varied. The full/queen was the perfect size for my full bed. It made my whole room look brighter and lovely! I had worried about the price, but feel it was absolutely worth it!
