Q: My resin casts dried nicely and are hard, aren't sticky in touch, but sticks a little to the flat surfaces. Why? I mixed it 1 to 1.

I don't know. I mixed 1 to 1 also. Mine never dried completely even after sitting a full week. Finally, I took out of silicone mold and the next day it was a puddle of sticky goo! Horrible product in my opinion...but Amazon was understanding and easy to deal with...gave me a refund.

Q: We are making 3-5 hundred pieces a day for a jewelry business. Trying to speed up turnaround time. Is there any way possible to speed curing process?

Look on youtube for instructions to make a heat box with a heating pad. I tried and it speeds up the time. I also tried the oven but that was too hot and ruined my piece.

Q: Is this food safe? Could it be used on a cutting board?

We have never used it on a cutting board but we use it on glasses and antler handled mugs. When we sell these items we tell the purchaser that if they used them for hot liquids it will eventually deteriorate the items. It tells you on the bottle that it is only good for cold things. But it is used on bar tops everywhere so I am reasonably sure that you could use it on a cutting board as long as you put more than one coat.

Can this be used over oil paintings on canvas or am I looking for a different resin? I've never worked with resin, hence don't know the right kind.TIA
