I got a 12 pack of Flysea pens a little over a year ago. While the dark green pen was a nightmare after I took the pack on a flight (definitely my fault for bringing a water-based marker on a flight and forgetting that pressure changes would make some of the pens explode), they're holding up pretty well. I only ordered this new pack because I was running out of my most used colors (white and orange) and wanted to replace those and the green, and I thought, "Hey, I like these--why don't I get a bigger pack this time?"Well, 4 of the 24 pens (dark blue, dark green, orange, and silver) arrived totally dried out. And I don't mean they were hard to get started, I mean I had to get a skewer to unblock the crusted pigment and I could see through to the other side of the pens because there was no liquid in them at all. I don't know if this is a manufacturing issue or they were stored incorrectly by the seller or what, but even after breaking up the pigment, adding water, and shaking for ages, they STILL don't work right. I specifically reordered these to get replacement orange, dark green, and white, and two out of three of those colors don't work properly.I'll try to buy these in-person next time--it's not worth the risk that they've been stored improperly. At least in a shop, you can check if they're dried out.

I read a review on a paint pen article that named these bad boys as the best budget option. I wanted them to work so badly, but theyre so runny and after shaking and pressing and shaking and pressing they still run not-opaque colors. I don't have it in me to return them so I brought them into work to let the kids use them for coloring. They dont seem to mind them.

These are the perfect acrylic paint pens for any project! If you love to craft these are for you! My kids and I have a rock garden complete with gnomes and fairies and these done an amazing job rock painting not to mention there was no mess to clean up versus regular acrylic paint! They have beautiful colors in different shades of great quality!

Some of the colors were dried out and so they were useless and of course it was the ones I needed. The colors that worked were pretty.
