This is such a great condiment and surprisingly hard to find at the grocery store, despite many other Patak products. Was so happy to find it. Just the right amount of heat, very tangy with the lime. Good accompaniment to Indian food but also just for plain rice or on a grilled cheddar cheese sandwich.

The product is the usual Pataks high standard in quality . This is the mild version but if you like it hot then the “hot lime pickle version is much hotter “

We love this hard to find Indian condiment, but Amazon saved the day! Prompt delivery, and very well packed. Long expiry date too! Highly recommend.

Packed little punch. Was expecting more of a dynamic flavor profile. Was fine, but just OK.

I've always loved lime pickle, but I became concerned about possible lead contamination based on news accounts from Consumer Reports and other media about lead contamination in turmeric and other spices and herbs used in making lime pickle. I sent a sample of Patak's off to a commercial certified testing lab and just got back the results -- 0.026 ppm, a very low value and well below what Consumer Reports considered problematic! I just ordered two more jars figuring their likely from the same batch and will have equally low levels.
