I’ve been using this product for over 2 months and before i was using pomade. I have insanely straight hair and have been desperate for that wavy messy look. I tried many methods and products but they either didn’t work or damaged my hair. Then i tried clay after seeing a bunch of videos on it and i could tell you it’s a great replacement for pomade if you have straight hair. Its only hard to use once you first use it but after a while its easy. It could honestly go for any look you’re going for, nice and neat or wavy and messy. It could also last the whole day without going flat at all. Mandatory for straight hair, best purchase I have made for my hair!

This is hands down the best extreme hold hair clay I’ve ever tried! I’ve been through countless hair clay labeled “high hold” or “extreme hold” and they all failed. Most were oily or just didn’t hold at all. Yes it is more dense and thick but that makes it “extreme hold!” Use a pea size amount, or more if you have more hair…. Rub the paste together with both hands staying in the fingers area. The paste will become malleable from the warmth of your hands then run it through your hair from front to back. I love this stuff! I finally found the one that works! The picture included was taken after I woke up the day after first use….

Love that this product does a great job providing hold and makes my hair look great. As I get older, my hair is thinning and this actually makes it look noticeably thicker. Most of the other hair products I have used in the past would make it look thinner.What I hate is that it is so thick that it feels like work getting it out of the container. Then you really have to massage it into your hands to the point you think it is almost gone (but it isn't) because if you don't you will get clumps which are difficult to get out.When I finish this container, I am definitely going to get another Forte but will order the next level Matte down.

This thing comes hard as a rock. You cannot, even with your fingernails scoop paste. I had to use the plastic cover it came with. This is WAY too HARD!! Styling your hair is fun and joyful - this product took that joy away. I can't for the life of me ever understand why anyone would or could ever use this product. Going back to my old paste!

I just bought 10 more of these in case the formula changes in the future. If any of the Forte workers are reading, PLEASE DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING WITH THE FORMULA!!! I will buy this for life and recommend to others if nothing changes! Great product- I was looking for something to replace Kevin Murphy Night Rider because Kevin Murphy had changed their product so that hold was lacking and it was no longer really matte. This product is great- holds all day, makes my fine hair look more full, truly matte finish. I am an east Asian guy so my hair is straight FYI. Yes it's a tiny bit stiff and difficult to remove from the container but I think it's just how things go if you want to have a product that really keeps your hair in place all day without falling. I'm buying the product for the hold and look, not for a very tiny inconvenience of pressing a little harder to get it out of the container. Doesn't really smell like anything to me. Hold is stronger than Hanz de Fuko Claymation, this is more matte, and it doesn't make your hair clump up as much. Doesn't really look like you have any product in your hair either, if you use the right amount. Claymation isn't bad but this is better. AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T CHANGE! Oh god I'm so sick of companies changing their hair products and then I need to search for new ones hahah.

It does hold my hair really well, the texture is insane, but i dont know why the one i received is hard like concrete, is super hard to put on your hair and wash it off.

Man does this stuff make your hair do whatever you want. The answer is yes it does. The only drawback is you have to damp the product very slightly with water so you can rub it in your hands and when you get it in your hair you can get it to do anything. Your hair is slightly stiff once the product is in but it definitely lasts all day
