For ages I have been looking for the perfect waterbottle. One that doesnt leak and well built. Well finally I think I have found it. It only arrived yesterday, so I havent tried it for long, but so far it is great. It doesnt leak (which I was concerned about given some of the reviews). The noozle is just right enabling you to drink quickly if you need to. The water tastes great, just like bottled water. It is also reassuring that wherever you are its safe to drink the water using this system (obviously except sea water). I believe one review commented that it is noisy when drinking from it. It does make a slight sound but is not noticable. So far I am extremely happy and I will update this review in a couple of months time to see if I am just as pleased.

Bereits seit einigen Jahren nutze ich Filterflaschen sowohl zu Hause als Tischwasserfilter als auch unterwegs. Neben der Schonung der Umwelt bietet es den Vorteil keine schweren Getränkekisten schleppen zu müssen sowie die Flasche unterwegs jederzeit nachfüllen zu können. ~ ~ ~ DESIGN ~ ~ ~ Die Water-to-Go Filterflasche 75cl (Black-Blue) gefällt mir vom Design sehr gut und die Wassermenge finde ich optimal, um einerseits nicht zu schwer zu tragen und andererseits nicht zu oft nachfüllen zu müssen. Unpraktisch finde ich jedoch, dass es keine Halterung gibt. Meine vorherige Flasche konnte ich in der Seitentasche meines Rucksacks mit dem Klickverschluss des Rucksacks befestigen, so dass sie nicht herausfällt. Dies ist mit der Water-to-Go Filterflasche Flasche leider nicht möglich. Die Flasche ist mir daher schon mehrfach beim An- oder Ausziehen des Rucksacks aus der Halterung geflogen. Positiv ist, dass sie sehr robust ist und dabei nicht beschädigt worden. Optimal wäre es jedoch, wenn man sie befestigen könnte. ~ ~ ~ FILTERUNG ~ ~ ~ Die Filterung der Flasche ist exzellent und überzeugt mich sehr. Ich hatte vor dem Kauf ein Video gesehen, in dem Cola in die Flasche gefüllt wurde und anschließend klares, gefiltertes Trinkwasser herauskam. Das konnte ich zunächst kaum glauben und wollte mich selbst überzeugen. Tatsächlich, egal was ich einfülle, ob es Cola, Tee oder kalkhaltiges Leitungswasser ist, das gefilterte Wasser ist klar und lecker! Dass bei der Filterung zudem mikrobiologischer Verunreinigungen beseitigt werden, finde ich beruhigend, auch wenn ich es natürlich nicht überprüfen kann. Laut Herstellerangabe soll der Filter nach 200 Litern ausgetauscht werden, was in etwa drei Monaten entspricht, wenn man ca. 2 Liter pro Tag daraus trinkt. Je größer die Verunreinigung, desto stärker wird der Filter natürlich beansprucht. Daher hätte ich mir eine Anzeige gewünscht, an der man erkennen kann, wann es Zeit für einen Filterwechsel ist. Bei meinem Tischwasserfilter wird zumindest die Anzahl der Füllungen mitgezählt. ~ ~ ~ TRINKVERSCHLUSS ~ ~ ~ Bei meiner vorherigen Filterflasche musste man den Trinkverschluss mit den Zähnen zusammenbeißen, um Trinken zu können, konnte dafür aber die Flasche senkrecht verwenden, ohne sie beim Trinken zu kippen. Der „normale“ Trinkverschluss der Water-to-Go Filterflasche gefällt mir besser, ich muss mich nur wieder umgewöhnen die Flasche beim Trinken zu kippen, doch da das an sich der Normalfall ist, würde es jemandem, der vorher nicht das andere Modell genutzt hat, nicht auffallen. Aufgrund des Filters ist es natürlich mühsamer aus dieser Flasche zu trinken als beispielsweise aus einem Strohhalm, aber das bringt die Filterung so mit sich und nehme ich gerne in Kauf. Was mich jedoch stört, ist das Geräusch, das die Water-to-Go Filterflasche beim Trinken auslöst. Es klingt als würde ein Hamster oder ein Kaninchen im Käfig an seiner Flasche saugen… Das ist mir sehr unangenehm, wenn ich in einem ruhigen Raum (z. B. während eines Seminars) etwas trinken möchte. ~ ~ ~ DICHTIGKEIT ~ ~ ~ Bemängeln muss ich zudem die Dichtigkeit der Flasche. Wenn der Trinkhalm ausgeklappt ist, läuft das Wasser direkt raus, was in Ordnung ist. Wenn der Trinkhalm eingeklappt ist, ist die Flasche am Trinkverschluss 100 % dicht, jedoch tropft an der Seite des Deckels Wasser heraus. Das darf nicht passieren! ~ ~ ~ PREIS ~ ~ ~ Der Preis erscheint mir auf den ersten Blick recht hoch und ein neuer Filter kostet zudem ein Drittel des Kaufpreises der Flasche. Dennoch rentiert sich der Preis meiner Meinung nach, wenn man die Flasche wirklich regelmäßig nutzt. ~ ~ ~ FAZIT ~ ~ ~ + Exzellente Filterung + Ansprechendes Design + Gute Größe/Wassermenge + Filter muss seltener als bei anderen Produkten ausgetauscht werden (alle 3 Monate) - Undicht - „Hamster“-Geräusche beim Trinken - Keine Halterung für die Flasche, um sie am Rucksack zu befestigen - Keine Anzeige zum Austausch des Filters Die Filterung ist zwar exzellent, aber die Flaschenkonstruktion könnte noch optimiert werden. Daher vergebe ich nur drei Sterne. ~ ~ ~ UPDATE 18.02.2017 ~ ~ ~ Die Flasche ist aus dem Rucksack (also etwa 1 m Höhe) heruntergefallen und hat den Sturz nicht überlebt (s. neue Fotos). Ich werde mir dennoch eine neue Flasche bestellen, weil die Flasche mich von der Filterleistung im Vergleich zu anderen Filterflaschen am besten überzeugt und die Filter nicht so oft ausgewechselt werden müssen. Schön wäre, wenn die Dichtigkeit und Haltbarkeit verbessert werden würden. Zudem fände ich eine Halterung an der Flasche, um die Flasche in Rucksäcken oder mit Karabinerhacken festmachen zu können sinnvoll.

Where I live the water taste is revolting. If horrid water taste was an Olympic Sport, our town would surely qualify for the gold medal. I have other water bottles with filters that are extremely good, but the cost of those filters has got pretty crazy the last couple of years. Looking for a cheaper alternative, this seemed like a good option to try. From the reviews I noted that the early ones reporting leaks from the top seems to have been an issue that has been dealt with. It has. Indeed, to activate the dry filter the instructions say to turn the bottle upside down for fifteen minutes for the filter to work correctly. That the lid isn't flat was my only issue, so you will need some way of propping the bottle in an upside down position. However, no leaks. The flow of water as you tip the bottle to drink is good. No need to use strong suction for it to work. Some suction is required, but that's not unusual with filter bottles. At 75ml it's nice to have more water than a standard 50ml bottle, yet not have the weight of a one litre bottle. The curve in the design also makes the bottle easy to hold. By total chance, where I live had reports of parts of the town experiencing dirty water only 24 hours after I started using the bottle. Luckily where I live in town didn't seem affected, but I was able to fill up the bottle knowing if there were any small amounts of sediment in the water, this would deal with them. It just goes to show that no matter where you live, an emergency problem with your water supply could be just around the corner. The taste of my water using this filter is great, as good as my much more expensive filters, so I am now able to think about buying replacement filters for this bottle, knowing it's saving me even more money. Plus, it's keeping all those plastic water bottles out of the ecosystem. If I was to give this a mark out of 10, it would probably be a 9½ out of 10, and it only loses that ½ mark because the bottle doesn't sit flat when you turn it upside down. Yeah, it's a minor niggle, but so much good thought has obviously gone into this, it's a shame that aspect isn't great. Especially if you're disabled like me, and can't hold something in the correct position for that long. That aside, I am so far very impressed with the overall design, plus costs associated with buying the filters.

Not campervan wheel proof - OK, nor would I expect it to be. However, this is the only reason I needed to replace my original bottle. Choose a brighter version this time so hopefully I spot before driving off. Dog had moved previous black bottle and, cos I couldn't see it, assumed it was in the van. Nope! Anyway, great product. Love the filter - can fill up from any tap now without having to grimace when drinking.
