This was great for the arrival of her new sibling Review: We got a couple other big sister books for our young two-year-old to try to help her understand what was coming, but this one seemed to help her the most! I'm sure a lot of it had to do with the fact that it coincided with the great episodes about this. It also covers different aspects of having a new baby than I've seen in other big siblings baby prep books. I love that it starts before the baby is born, covering when the family is preparing for the baby because that is immediately relevant for the toddler (and not in other books that I've seen). And I especially love that it covers his grandpa coming to watch him while th parents leave to go the hospital because then the child knows what to expect at a time that could be scary and unknown. And again, I haven't seen books discuss the parents leaving for the hospital and someone watching the child. Another unique event that it covers is Daniel visiting the baby in the hospital after she's born. Great resource, especially when used with the episodes its based on! My daughter loved this book and the episodes, and so did the other kids we lent this book to.
