10 Piece Silicone Cooking Utensils Set with Stainless Steel handles By Chef Essential

As with most things you get what you pay for. They’re good enough to use and what we expected. The 2 issues, the spatula is loose and falls out of the handle, this I’ve fixed and maybe a one off issue. The rest are all sturdy. The 2nd issue, the oven glove is too thin to actually stop the heat coming through - we expected this and didn’t get this set for the oven glove.

Ooooo where to start. This set does great for me. However, I took one star away due to a couple issues. The whisk broke apart. Exploded? Nah, that's a bit extreme. It just fell apart from only two uses. The other issue is the glove. It's THIN! Definitely not meant for taking stuff out of the oven with. I use it to set hot pots/pans/baking ware on and that's about it. Positives would have to be the Silicone. Doesn't scratch any of my Tef cookware. That is the main reason why I bought this set. I also hand wash these due to the handles being a form of metal (aluminum?). Anyways, if the first two issues don't matter to you, this set will do you well.

While we love the silicone and metal utensils; there are some issues with a few of the items. The tongs were great the first time we used them. But after that, the silicone pieces kept bending backwards when trying to pick up anything. It seems to be a design flaw. We pop them back into place but they keep popping back out rendering them useless. The second issue is the whisk. They also keep popping out of the handle. While this may happen occasionally on most whisks, this happens every time we use them. We may have just received a bad set. I'd buy them again without hesitation as I absolutely love the design of these, the silicone is sturdy, the handles are long AND you can hang them up instead of putting in drawers if you want to. I have not tested the glove yet so can't speak on that. I'm always too chicken to test these types of gloves.

I like that there is an option to hang the utensils to store them bc of a small loop at the bottom. Very convenient. The utensils look nice and don’t melt when cooking or in the dishwasher which is why we threw away all of our plastic ones. So far these have held up and work great.

When I opened the package, one spatula had a large amount of dried glue from where the silicone end had been glued into the handle. Not a big deal, but it was very hard to remove. The silicone glove is a joke. I tried to use it to remove a pan of biscuits from the oven and could feel the heat so much that I had to use a regular oven mitt instead. After using them for about a month, one of the silicone ends has fallen out of the handle. Too many issues with the quality of these products for more than 2 stars.

First time we tried to use any of the utensils the tongs broke while trying to pick up a chicken breast. Not too happy with this purchase.Update: 9/28/16: the second time using the whisk and it falls apart. These utensils are awful.

Bought for my Daughter she can't stop raving about how great they are, I have also used them and although a little different than what I am used to I have to say using them is a pleasure and clean up easy I only wish the wisk was a little less flexible other than that an awesome set.

The box had a hole in it and one of the handles had a small dent. I am assuming something fell on it. he soup ladle handle had some rust on it also.the set is very nice looking. My son really liked the looks of it and ask me to order another set so I did. Hoping this one is perfect.
