Why with all that is out there are you using crushed beetles (c70?, or carmine its called in ingredient list)?

R, 1. Carmine is a colour additive. 2. Carmine is not only sourced from crushed beetles on pear cacti. 3. Carmine IS indeed required by the FDA to be reported if it is an ingredient. 4. Carmine is used in cosmetics, pharmaceutical pill pigmentation, dying material in the clothes industry. The FDA only requires that if carmine is an ingredient, it must be listed. The FDA does NOT designate if the manufacturers sourced it from beetles. The only valid point that your presumption is correct is that Burts Bee advertises as all natural ingredients. That COULD, but is NOT, guaranteed to be crushed beetles. In short, if you’re vegan or only use and consume plant based meals, you’ll need to contact Burts Bees to verify its source of carmine. It’s a stretch to conclusively make such a claim. Hope this eases your concern for beetles.

I'm looking for a brownish or coralish pink color. Would Doused Rose work?
