American book which should used to supplement UK GCSE prep. It focusses the student's mind to ask the question WHY?

This book adds a lot of info that is not strictly biology, including ecology, theories on evolution, and even some socio-political fluff. They need to stick to their discipline and get away from propaganda.

The shipping was slow, but the Canadian postal strike really slowed things down, so I can't complain. The quality of the text for the price is excellent thank you!
