Another Banger
I loved Kian and Roxie's story. The Lily addition made it interesting. Initially, I was put off by it but you can't help but to fall in love with her. All the characters seem to work for the story. Children are very resilient. My heart went out to Lily but she came through like a champ!

Amazing read!
ArdenBy: Melody Anne📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚Oh my this book has it all. Sass, love, intrigue, sexual tension, and the best kind of loyalty. Well let me start by saying I have become a huge fan of this author. She writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.Authors Blurb: No one would guess that dedicated teacher Arden Forbes is a billionaire. His profession gives him a purpose that wealth alone can’t provide. He’s developing another passion, too, for Keera Thompson, the new principal. She’s beautiful, enigmatic, guarded, and—after a series of violent school break-ins—in need of protection. And Arden is eager to supply it. But what he wants most is to unearth the mysteries that surround her. After a troubling past, Keera thought she’d be safe in this sleepy town and that she’d never be shaken again. Yet nothing has unsettled Keera more than her desire for Arden—honorable, gorgeous, and available when she craves him. But despite their explosive chemistry, when it comes to letting Arden in, Keera has her limits…and her secrets. As the threats escalate, Keera fears that everything she’s been running from is closing in, and there’s only one man to trust. But will the truth drive Arden away…or will it bring the two closer than ever before?I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic. Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Where had this author gone???
First of all, I have read several books by this author, hence my decision to buy this book: so I would like to know where that author was. It bore no relation to any of the books I had previously read. The writing is awful and characters unsympathetic. The plot has been described in previous reviews so I won't harp on about it apart from one point: what sort of person would take a four year old child back to the home where she was stabbed and her mother murdered (and still leave a key 'hidden' outside)..?? Roxie Gilbert, that's who. What an irritating, annoying character, constantly blowing hot and cold, yet always happy to take the sex; about a third of the book was spent on introspective navel gazing (ok, I know they mean the same thing, this is an example of the torture of the writing!): I jumped vast swathes of text and still managed to keep up with the 'plot'.I'm glad this wasn't the first book by Melody Anne that I read as otherwise I wouldn't have subsequently bought The Billionaire Aviators or The Billionaire Bachelors, both series which I loved. This series is actually linked to both of those with crossover characters popping up. That being said, one of those characters, Joseph Armstrong, I can't stand!!!! His (and Sherman's) constant meddling in people's lives, to 'help' them fall in love...... arrgh!!!I can hear people saying "Why continue to read it if it was so awful" ? I did actually consider stopping but I hate to give up on a book, always hoping it will redeem itself in the end....Luckily I only paid £1 for this, so it's not the end of the world and if I hadn't already bought 'Arden' for the same amount I definitely wouldn't be continuing with this series. Hopefully Ms Anne will have her mojo back... watch this space!!

Indecisive
A lightweight story of Kian and Roxie and, oh!, how I wanted to box Roxie’s ears and give her a smack for her vacillating and angst. How stupid can one woman be when faced with the prospect of a loving man, a beautiful child, security and a happy future! Someone whose sister has been killed and niece attacked, and she still insists on living in her sister’s house, and leaves a spare key under a plant pot! That’s not bright, or in any way caring towards her four year old niece yet she gets her knickers in a twist every time the child’s father wants to help....... I got so tired of her stupidity, her inner turmoil, general selfishness and indecision and was intensely relieved when she finally got her "lightbulb moment" in the penultimate chapter. Nowhere near up to the author’s other books that I have read, otherwise I would not have bothered to buy these particular stories.I hope the other books in this series are better - but I’m not holding my breath. I also need to read other authors work before trying the second book in this series!

Frustrating to say the least
This is a very frustrating book. I might be the only person who thinks this, but personally, I found Roxie's angst very annoying. The wallowing in self pity was taken to Olympic games standard. You see Kian, who has the patience of a saint by the way, never actually did anything wrong and yet Roxie ran away from him.She ripped his heart out, did a tango on it, picked it up and threw it back at him. She ran away from him without so much as a see ya later, disappeared for four years and then has the nerve to be upset with him when she returns to take care of her niece.Ok, so admittedly, he did have a one night stand with her sister. And did conceive a child with said sister, however he didn't actually know he had done any of it until the sister was on her deathbed.I m still on the fence about Kian. I can't decide whether he's a sap or not. Also, I think the interfering parents is a theme that this writer has used before. Well, I'm going to read more in this series because it was part of a Amazon deal. So until the next review, enjoy peeps 😉.

Ladies, gents - readers get comfy, no interruptions, wine, choc and read this!!
Kian & Roxies story starts a new series for Melody Ann, for me I love the previous books, as a go to author, anything, or rather everything I read, this was no exception. Loved the old timers meddling behind the scenes making a couple of appearances - great links to earlier series, setting the tone, and a heads up on how good this is. Star crossed lovers, fated, soul mates maybe, maybe not but when Roxie left without word or warning she broke Kians heart. He shattered and then threw himself into work and women to erase the memories. Roxie is back under distressing circumstances, will they finally find each other, will the oldies win, will the murderer strike again or will Roxie run? Lot of emotion, lots of passion burning up the page, serious page turner, must read.

Only you!
Overnight motherhood - checkFacing the only man she ever loved... - check....and left - checkLosing control - checkCan Roxie face her fears, her past, her mistakes and her regrets to step up and become mother to Lily or will being so close to Kian burn her again? This book is packed with emotion, heartbreak, frustration, terror, love, humour, passion and need. Kian needs Roxie and Lily to breathe, he needs them in his home, his arms, his future, but as much as he needs to posses them he also needs to nurture them and allow them to realise they need him too - can he be that patient?Kian and Roxie are steamy hot together, not a surprise for a Melody Anne book and the perfect start to this new series, it is also available on Kindle Unlimited which just adds to the appeal. Whilst it is not a requirement you may enjoy this book more if you read The Anderson's series first.
