bad shackle
came with a bad shackle they wouldn't send me out a new one

Made in china. Poorly sanded.
First, picture shows that it is made in USA. 1/4" chain made in China.Places where the links are welded poorly sanded, so most of the links has pointy places, which can easily scratch your skin. Returning 1/4", getting 5/16. Hopefully the 5/16 will be better.

Does it’s job
This stainless anchor chain does its job well while looking like a million bucks. I have the utmost confidence this chain will connect my anchor to the anchor rope for years to come.

Excellent chain
Purchased to anchor a pontoon raft on a lake. Chain has been in the water for a season and it looks great. Had no problem removing the shackles to take it out at the end of the season. Our anchors have moved and we need more chain now -- definitely will buy the same (maybe a different length) again. Worked like a champ!
