Very effective is eco friendly doesn’t burn if I apply straight after shaved. Very easy apply and the fresh smell is wonderful all day long. Is slightly pricey but you get quality product.

This is usually an excellent brand, but this batch is old. The face and body suncreams are dried up and lumpy. Really annoyed that I didn't open the package sooner, because I've missed the window to return these faulty goods.

This set was amazing value when I bought it - way cheaper than buying the items individually. I bought it for the solid spf50 sick and it's the only version of zinc oxide sun screen stick I've found to have a tint (it doesn't give any colour but prevents the product looking white or cast-y on the skin). Very easy to swipe on and blend with fingers. Both the cream and stick are water resistant and consequently feel a bit heavy and sticky when used on your face, so I save them for walks or sports on hot days when I'll get sweaty and beach type outings. The first swipe can sometimes feel a bit gritty as the product warms up, but is usually nice and smooth after that. Occasionally you'll come across a blob of tint which hasn't been blended in so you end up with a tiny coloured streak on your skin but this disappears easily with a finger blend. The cream/lotion is less cast-y than I expected, but is not completely invisible - I have decanted some into a pot and mixed mine with some iron oxide mineral pigments to give it some colour similar to my skin tone. Both are tenacious on the skin so you'll need to do a proper double cleanse to remove.

Was initially unsure about the spf 50 cream as it says spf 50 on the front but spf 30 on the back and there are some typos. Reached out to salt and stone on Instagram and they assured me it was just typos a while back. Tried it and actually very impressed by the lack of white cast. It’s also very moisturising so I can skip moisturiser. It is hard to squeeze out of the tube as it’s like a paste but as soon as you smooth it on it’s not thick anymore, feels just like a very rich moisturiser. It helped disguise my Retinoid flaky skin perfectly, I’m really impressed as most things break me out but this hasn’t and no burning of my sensitive irritated skin whatsoever. But I haven’t tested if it’s actually good for sun protection because I use a powder spf on top of it. It’s perfect for me right now, apart from the very slight rancid smell as I discovered the expiration date is 3 months away, so that explains the cheap bundle. However, the lip balm actually expired 9 months ago (08/2021) so also has a rancid smell and feels drying too. The Face stick is also expired, although it’s the one with the least smell and it applies very nicely, however, the same as the cream, I think you have to put powder on top to keep it in place because it doesn’t dry and remains sticky on the surface. They are good products I believe, but the expired products really shouldn’t be sold and there should be a warning for the near expiry ones. I won’t be using the expired products as I’m unsure of their protective capability!

It feels cheap, the cream is like a thick paste that was difficult to squeeze out of the tube it was almost solidified! Does not feel nice on the skin. The sun stick is slightly better in that it applies easier. It is tinted but only very slightly. It is gritty but the gritty bits once ribbed in go away and blend in. Both of the creams feel heavy on your face. Not nice.
