From gel I transitioned to mouse, and then tried some other products for hold without the added greasy look. It's been a big experiment as the hair comes into style. First read about this product as being good for some hold and still being able to comb through and run your hands through, so I purchased.Was not very impressed initially because I think I was doing too much. Still on my gel technique, perhaps. Anyway, too much and it's a thicker paste and frankly is too greasy looking for my sense of style. I have fairly thin blond hair and just want a cool, natural look to my longer hair. Well, my hair is coming in (after months and months) and with just a "dime" spot rubbed into my palms and then lightly feathered through my hair I may have found the best out there for styling.If you are looking for something with just a touch of control and styling, this is probably as good as it gets. I won't be experimenting with any other product. It's that good.
