Grave (The Dark Kingdom)

I was shocked by how much I loved Grave!! He was a bit of a mystery still even after reading the first two books in the series! But I love his story!He has a lot of addictions to overcome but I love seeing him fight and I love how good for him April is!Great book! I'm eager to dive into Cross now 😍

Grave's story is a sad one. You learn about how he became so destructive. How lucy plays into his addiction so she can be with him anyway she can. April is the purple haired pill Grave didn't know he needed to pull him back to the land of the living and want to stay there. It seems the other kings have washed their hands of him, but when the time comes they prove they are brothers and have his back. We meet the mason brothers, I can't wait to read their stories too. Jasmine is always epic, love her. Great read.

I'm not a crier when it comes to reading, but the entire last 10% had me welling up.Graves has demons, he thinks drugs are the best thing for him, until he meets April. I loved watching him be sober around her and realising that she's way more important than any substances. April was just GOOD for him! I loved them together and definitely wanted to punch Graves at times for screwing up in the worst ways.In my opinion he's had the best overall character development ant redemption arc of the Kings Boys, and so far has been my total favourite. There wasn't a single thing he wouldn't of done for AprilI loved April, I loved her style, I loved how well she just slot in with Haven, Jasmine and Emilee and I loved how deep down she never gave up on Graves. And once again, I'm gonna shout out my girl Jasmine, because she is truly one of the best side characters written, she truly is a ride or die girl!'𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞. I love Grave, he has this tragic hero vibe about him. You feel like there is no hope in his self destructive ways, till… there is. Her name is April. If you know Shantel’s books, then you know there is no sweet and easy. Instead what you have is dark, sexy and very addictive. Grave constantly carries his darkness and demons with him, they are part of him. So it’s not an easy task to let the April’s light get through. She has her own share of hardship in life. As you can imagine there is no easy sailing for them two, but their story makes such a beautiful and good read. Shantel doesn’t disappoint, as always.

It's so hard already to even make my mind up about who's my favourite. I loved Titan, but Graves just breaks and melts my heart. I love Bones especially in this book and I'm curious about Cross, I'm looking forward to starting their books. April is amazing, and I love how she's found her place within the girl gang! Kyle (Grave) and April's story is beautifulDefinitely recommend!

I found Titan and also Luca’s story (forget the name of the book!) a bit too short to accommodate the twisting storyline and also fully develop the characters and relationships. This book was much better with a simpler, yet still interesting, storyline. Really liked the characters and it was well written as always.The only negative is that I don’t really feel his addiction was addressed in a truly accurate way and was much too easily solved. But for just a short romance I can forgive that.

Although I love Shantel’s writing, I’m not sure if I’m feeling this new world she’s dragged me into. Each book just seems to be falling a little flatter, but I feel like this one could be down to the characters; I didn’t connect with them at all.

Another fantastic read.I love this series it just keeps me gripped and I hate when they end.I love Graves and Im glad he got April to help him. It was definitely emotional in parts listening to him and April and the different things that happened in their relationship.Im so glad of how the book ended. Absolutely loved it.

I have to say, I think this one was my fav in the series so far. Grave is not an easy man to deal with and with all his demons?! Its even worst. Second chance? More like a 100 chances. This guy has a death wish a mile long. But can you blame a girl for trying to save him. I wont cause he's totally worth it! Loved Grave and April's story. Amazing ending too. This book was so so good. It was emotional, spicy, and funny. The storyline had me hooked and I was on the edge of my seat! I could not wait to finish it and looked forward to it constantly. Liked this book a lot !

Loved this series and all the characters you have to read and see who you fall in love with mine i think is Titan with Bones a close second.

I thought I loved the second book of the series, but if so I just adored the third ❤️.I loved the main characters, April is just the sweetest rose with thorns and Grave 🫠. To see a guy in touch with his feelings like that always makes me melt!! Plus, it was HOT! There chemistry was off the chart. I just can’t find a single thing I didn’t like, it was just perfect! I can’t wait to read the next one to see what happens to them next, even if it’s through others’ POV. Thanks for this amazing series ❤️This story is part of a series where all the major characters get there own book and HEA. BUT, I have been looking for Silent Nite, the last book (6th) that should have come out long ago, and I am very disappointed to say that I don’t think it was written… i can’t believe that it’s been promoted for so long and it didn’t come out after the last book of the series in 2022. After 5 books in this series, I was getting attached to does characters and feel abandoned in the end…I’m a sucker for reading series and when it’s left with no ending 😱😡I have to lower my reviews a little of the whole series.

Loved the ended and the wrap up i cant wait to read the last too! I’m super excited xoxo loving it
