This mouse is pretty unbelievable. It is my 1st bluetooth mouse
This mouse is pretty unbelievable. It is my 1st bluetooth mouse, and it is everything I hoped for. I don't have to waste a usb port on my ultra book, and there is no little transmitter to lose. I honestly purchased this thinking "what the heck, it's $15 mouse, if it isn't good, I'm not going to cry over it." I was pleasantly blown away. I am actually enjoying gaming with it, when I figured it would be used only for other, simpler pc uses. Pros 1. Comfortable - This is more comfortable than some $50+ mice I've used. Of course, that may vary person to person, but for my average sized male hands, it is great. If you have large hands, I would say it may be a bit small for you. 2. Simple to use - There is 1 part, the mouse. You put in 2 AAA batteries, flip the switch to "on", and press the pairing button. Your pc/phone/tablet does the rest. It took me roughly 30 seconds from opening to using it. 3. Functional - With the 2 side buttons, left & right click, and scroll clicker, you have 5 buttons that you can map to game commands. -The dpi button allows you to change sensitivity on the fly. - The mouse works on many surfaces. I started using it on my cloth couch, but it works on a smooth table or desk surface just fine as well. 4. If looks matter, it is nice & sleek. I prefer this look over the flashy LED lit mice that are somewhat popular now. It doesn't exactly stand out, but it is a nice minimalist look. Neutral (bc I don't have any cons at this price point) 1. Probably small for people with larger hands. 2. I want to put long battery life in pros, but I haven't had enough time with the mouse yet to know if those claims are true. Keep in mind that battery quality varies wildly, and that can make a large difference. 3. No rechargeable batteries. Obviously this is part of the pricing & would mean making a whole other product with an internal rechargeable, but hey, I want that to happen. I would happily pay an extra $15 or so to not have to worry about the battery dying, even though this model claims long batter life. TLDR Great mouse for the price, comfortable, functional, and I look forward to many house gaming with it.

Works Great AFTER Moving Receiver to USB Port Further Away
When I first bought this I was about to return it due to the mouse frequently disconnecting, freezing, or weirdly "jumping around" like it was possessed. I have a very new desktop Windows PC computer that has several USB ports in the front and a few in the back as well. I would have to pull the USB receiver from the slot, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in to get it to work well for at least a short period of time. I tried changing the battery, updating the driver (it was fine), uninstalling and restarting the computer, etc., nothing worked. Looking for a solution, I found a website that gave several suggestions, one of which said to change the USB port to move the receiver further away from the mouse itself, or to use a USB extender. I moved the USB receiver from the front of my computer to one of the USB ports in the back (approximately 10 inches further away) and it has been fine ever since! There was nothing wrong with the other USB port, I have had other things plugged in there with no issues. The website said (if I remember correctly) that the newer mouses (mice?) have so much electronics packed into a small space that there are sometimes issues with interference, and moving the receiver further away can help. The mouse now works great, I have no issues with it at all! It comfortably fits my average size hand well, and is very responsive when I click, scroll, or move it around the screen, which is all I need. I have not used the Bluetooth yet, and I also don't use the side buttons; overall it's a great mouse for my needs.

No complaints. Bluetooth mode lasted exactly 1 year.
This is a good mouse, particularly for the price point. It isn't too small for my hand like some others I've tried. I use it primarily in Bluetooth mode, but use the 2.4GHz when moving it to a different computer temporarily, so I don't lose my pairing. The Bluetooth functionality lasted precisely one year. It now only works in 2.4GHz mode with the dongle. When turning it on in Bluetooth mode, the light now flashes green several times and stops, even with a fresh battery. (It should flash blue once for Bluetooth and green once for 2.4GHz.) It's not a pairing loss either, but I'm unable to re-pair. Initially, it would work with my computer but disconnect for a second or two every 30-60 seconds. Now it doesn't connect at all. It does still seem to work perfectly fine in 2.4GHz mode, though. At the $13 price point, it's served me well, and I'm about to buy a second one as its replacement.

4 Years Now.. Going strong for over 3 years...
** Edit in 2022** It's now going on about 4 1/2 years. The thing just works, and it still works really well. The battery cover is still broken, and that's still on me more than the device. The 12-month battery life claim is a little stretched, but often I'm also using the most basic batteries that you can find. Remember when Harbor Freight routinely included a pack of batteries 'free' with a purchase? Yea, I still have some of those around, lol. The mouse doesn't seem like it would be that well-built, but at the end of the day it's still kicking, and still kicking well. Anyway, if you're looking for a solid, good-performing, surprisingly reliable bluetooth mouse, my experiences say that this would be an excellent choice. **End Update** So, I just came back to double-check the pairing instructions, and didn't really realize that I've now had this thing for over 3 years... I've had very little problems with it. It's honestly great for what it is, a cheap, functional, Bluetooth mouse. It has by no means been babied, it's actually been dropped more than a few times. Everything still works, it connects, and all of the buttons are still good. The only thing that's broken has been the battery door cover, and that's halfway to be expected after a couple of drops on a hard surface. Overall, 5 stars. It's more than outlived its' value for the cost. And if it broke tomorrow, I would have no problems replacing it with another one.

Great mouse and it moves to keep your screen active
Works great and very comfortable. You can hold down the button and it will move just enough to keep your screen active. I have left it on for over an hour, came back, and still shows green on teams!

Great bluetooth mouse
Purchased this because I needed another bluetooth mouse. Unfortunately I forgot to look for a silent one...this is not, however it is not too loud as it clicks, either. This one connected flawlessly with my laptop, tablet and phone! The other bluetooth mouse that I use has issues re-connecting and refuses now to connect back up with my tablet. I thought it might be the bluetooth on my tablet, but it found this mouse immediately and connected right up, so that's where this mouse is used. It has an on/off switch which I really like because I carry the tablet with me but when I am home I use my laptop, so it's great that I can turn it off. We will see how long the battery lasts. My only complaint is that I have small hands and this one is slightly larger than what I am used to. In addition, there is no way to reprogram the side buttons, but other than that it works great! I am downgrading my review to 3 stars. I have just had to begin using this on my laptop as my other bluetooth mouse apparently died the same way the first one did (bluetooth quit working). After several months of use, it still works well, in general, however I have a couple of problems. This mouse is supposed to be a quiet one and it is not (clicks are fairly loud). The "sliders" on the bottom are very slippery and while this mouse works well on most surfaces, I use a laptop desk, tilted at a slight angle. The sliders are so slippery and the mouse is so heavy that it is constantly sliding down the desk and I am finding this increasingly annoying. In addition, the left and right mouse button do not always engage if your fingers are just slightly down from the end of the mouse. I have small hands and this is a fairly large mouse. If my fingers are not on the very ends of the mouse, then sometimes when I click, the mouse just doesn't "get it" and doesn't do anything. I find that sometimes I click and wait only to realize that even though I clicked, my fingers (apparently) were too far down. I also ordered this to use the 2 left side buttons but the longer I use it, I find that I do not use those and to me, they only get in the way, especially when I click them by accident. I will keep this and use for my occasional tablet/genealogical use since it pairs quickly and very well, but I am going to get a different mouse to use on my laptop desk.

Great choice for a Bluetooth mouse
My first thoughts of this mouse: - It fits perfectly in my hand - All the buttons are easily reachable, but not easily accidentally pushed - I feel like I can use this mouse for a long time without feeling fatigued Things to know: - It requires 2 AAA batteries - You will need to have a device that supports Bluetooth (pretty much all electronic devices have Bluetooth now) Setting it up: - Insert 2 AAA batteries - Make sure the switch near the battery door is set to ON - Double check to make sure Bluetooth is switched ON on the device you are going to use it on - Hold down the button located near the switch (on the underside of the mouse) for a few seconds - The low battery indicator should blink - On your device, check the Bluetooth dropdown menu for the TeckNet mouse, and click on it - The mouse should pair now - if not, start back from the beginning and verify that you did not miss a step Notes: - The mouse goes to sleep automatically after a few minutes so save battery, so there is no need to switch the mouse OFF if you walk away from it - Upon returning to a mouse that went to sleep, simply click once, and it will automatically wake back up without hesitation - I personally have no complains for this mouse whatsoever, it feels like a very quality mouse - It glides very nicely and effortlessly, and tracks just as nicely - The button below the scroll wheel adjusts the DPI (dots per inch - which controls how quickly the cursor moves compared to how far you move it) (higher DPI = moves faster; lower DPI = moves slower) - I believe there are 5 DPI settings that it cycles through - The 2 buttons located on the left side will vary based on which operating system you use. For my Mac, they do not seem to function. For Chrome OS, the lower button will go back a page, the upper button goes forward a page (in an internet browser) - I do not own a Windows computer, but I imagine it would function the same as Chrome OS

Used to be a great mouse but now it's jumpy and hard to control
Update: After a few months use -- conveniently after the return time -- this mouse has started going wonky. It jumps all over the screen and is hard to control, which is bad if you are trying to do anything much less design work. I've tried using it on a plain surface and a mouse pad with no change. I've also tried adjusting the mouse settings, cleaning it, restarting it, putting in new batteries, etc. and nothing seems to work. I had good luck with my last mouse from them, but this one appears to be a dud and now I'm going to probably have to get a new one after only a few months. Really disappointing. This is a pretty good bluetooth mouse. I really needed one that didn't have a dongle because my Macbook only has two USB ports and I didn't want to waste one of them with a mouse. What's the point of wireless if it still hogs up a USB port? Anyway, this was easy to pair up with my Macbook and works pretty well. When I wake my computer up, I need to click the button on the mouse for a few seconds to get it to wake up as well, but then it's all good. I do use a mousepad with it, but the table I'm using my laptop on is very shiny so it wouldn't work well without one. Your desktop may work differently. It fits my hand well and isn't too small. I'm a woman and my hands are average -- medium size gloves, if that helps -- so if you're a man with big hands, this may not work for you. I've had smaller ones and they make my hands cramp up after awhile. This fits the curve of my hand well and it's comfortable to use for long periods of time. I find that I have to change the battery about once a month, but I use it pretty much every day for work so that's fine by me. Besides, it only needs two AAA batteries and you can get the Amazon brand fairly cheap. Every once in awhile, the mouse does get a little jumpy, but overall it works fairly well. Usually when it starts acting up, I just put new batteries in. I'm not sure if that's always the problem, but it seems to work. I just wish there was some indicator light on top that would tell you when the batteries truly are low. This is the second or third mouse I've bought to work with my laptop and so far it's my favorite. I do a lot of graphic and photo work so I need one that is accurate and smooth. I'll probably upgrade once I can afford something a bit more high end but so far this has worked well for me.
