Natural Barrel Bung Plug Stopper

Needed to replace the plastic stopper on a decorative wine barrel. This fit perfect and works great

Worked perfect for my purpose. I had a hole left in my hard wood floor, due to removal of a pipe in a closet area. The hole was about the same dimensions of this plug This did the job to close off the crawl space and seal out insects.

It is a nice looking bung plug - it could have been a little larger and longer- it is almost flush to the barrel surface-

Bought this to close the hole in an old wine barrel I refinished as a table. Fit perfectly. Used a rubber mallet to pound into place and then an orbital sander to take off some depth.

The quality of the wooden lid is not good, moisture seeps out of the wood from the bottle, and a moldy black color is formed in the middle of the wooden lid. Half of the wooden lid has black mildew stains.
