I bought this rechargeable battery system when I bought my Pyle 50w megaphone. The megaphone requires 8 “c” style batteries. First and foremost, this is a huge money saver. Batteries aren’t cheap and this battery pack will pay for itself over and over. It’s so easy to use and has the charger built in. All you do is flip down the prongs and plug it it. Once fully charged it will last quite some time in the megaphone. I’ve never yet worn the battery completely down. On top of that, it’s super light weight. It’s the size of 4 “c” cell batteries and weighs about the same as maybe 2 “c” style batteries. It makes holding the megaphone so much easier being so much lighter. The power is the same as a full load of 8 batteries. So, don’t be on the fence about it. It’s worth every penny. Definitely recommend if you have a Pyle megaphone. You can thank me later.

I was looking for a more eco-friendly option than batteries. Even though there aren't any instructions, it was reasonably easy to figure out. The batteries would have added extra bulk weight so this rechargeable option seems better right off the bat. I'll still carry the old fashion batteries as a back-up but hopefully I'll learn that I won't need them.

The correct battery for our megaphone is no longer available from Pyle. However, this one looked like it would work and by gosh, it does! So we are happy with it! It arrived quickly and well packaged.
