Super Stock Motor Tz

The Tamiya TZ motor is a great brushed motor that has the option to replace the brushes as they wear out! Definitely see increased performance over a stock motor!

I like the artwork on the decal of the motors. Like these for my tamiya builds.

At first look, this little motor seems very well made. Can is nicely vented and appears well made, magnets appear to be very strong, brush hoods are nice and screws have heat sinks, anodized end bell support and looks like you can even adjust the timing as well as rebuildable. My only complaint is, why would you go through all this detail, and just use bronze bushings on the armature? Haven't actually used it yet so we'll see, might be an update!

I’ve been in to Tamiya RC for 30 years. I know what works and what doesn’t. I purchased this and it’s sister “BZ TZ” one for a nova fox one for hotshot 2. It’s so fast the nova fox will pull the front end up. Larger pinions in both kits. Very very quick. No LIPO nothing cool. Just NIMH 7.2 and go. Very happy

Very good motor way faster than my stock tamiya torque tuned motor, i ran it with my 26t pinion works fine it doesn't get that hot compared to my stock motor too

The motor worked well for the first three months. Then without any warning it quit working. There is no warranty after the first month. To me it's not worth the cost.

Excellent motors

I got this for my sons Tamiya Lancia 037. Its a perfect match. The car moves really fast with this motor. I'm a huge fan of these superstock motors.

実は、以前、RZを購入したが、結構マイルドな印象です。RZは、フルベアリング仕様のTT-02Bに使っていますが、車体が振り回されるほどのパワーでもないし、最近は海外製のブラシレスモーター仕様のラジコンと比較してしまうと、ブラシモーターにすると良いほうかな・・・と。今回、ある海外製ラジコンのOEMブラシレスのESCが故障したため、お財布事情を考えブラシレスを諦めて、TZを購入。早速走らせてみると、OEMのお手軽ブラシレスにまったく引けをとらないパワーにびっくり！少々重めの車体を軽々加速させるし、モーターに冷却ファンをつけているが、数十分の走行でも熱的にも問題なし。まだ、長いストレートを試してないので、おそらく伸びはブラシレスの方が良いとは思いますが。逆に、OEMのセンサーレスブラシレスよりもコントロール性は言うまでもなくTZの方が上。コストパフォーマンスや操作性の良さを考えると大満足！

Tamiya motors are very good quality and built to last.
