Brunswick Nirvana Bowling Ball

I started bowling again after about a 30 year hiatus. I had previously used a 16 # plastic ball that didn't curve much. I wanted to try a finger tip grip with a ball that would curve. The nirvana does that. The trick is managing that curve. It is more challenging than throwing a straight ball. I like the ball but don't have any other ball that curves to compare it to. Itwas a good price and a little cheaper for the 15 pound ball versus 16. It has met my expectations but I probably need abowling class to get the most out of the ball to work on my fundamentals of throwing the ball. My highest game so far is 171 which is nothing to jump up and down about but then again I am having fun. The nearby lane is cheap entertainment during the week from noon to 5pm.A little off topic but I was having pain in my middle finger of myright bowling hand. I bought a glove called steel fingers which cured this and bowled 17 games yesterday.

This ball is awesome!It looks nice on the shelf, looks nice rolling down the lane, and it hooks very well on an even arch, even on heavy oil.I am a med-speed, med-rotation bowler, and this ball allows me to open my angle and throw from the inside of the lane.Love it!

Doesn't seem to hook as much as I was thinking after reading some reviews and watching some videos online. I wonder if the guy at the proshop drilled it right :(

Love this ball. Replaced a Storm tropical breeze that cracked itself around the equator. This Brunswick hooks well and knocks them down for me!

This is one of the Best Balls to come out of Brunswick recently. The ball is so versatile on so many lane conditions. I have a 270 Rev Rate, low tilt and med rotation and higher ball speed so I need some help on the wet lane condition's. This ball did not let me down. Has plenty of bite in the heads and lots of energy left down lane to make the turn and blow through the 8/9.I am a Pro shop operator and have the opportunity to see all manufactures balls in many different hands.
