Flowbee Pet Groomer Home Hair Cutting System for Pets

I used to see this on TV commercials and would laugh. Once covid 19 started I gave it a try.... WOW, I wish I had bought this 20 years ago. It is so easy to use and I give myself a military style haircut using my small shop vac. Just wish they had 1 more attachment to get a little closer at the neckline. Ignore the price, it will pay for itself in mo time.

This sold very well at my garage sale. Dog hated it and I don't blame him.

It does not work well at all

My husband decided to start grooming our Shih-Tzu himself. He has used a Flowbee for himself for many years (and saved us lots of money by not having to go to barber or stylist). The Pet version works just as well as the "human" version and the results were great. Our furry fella does not mind the sound of the vacuum running or having this used on him at all.

I bought this to cut our Maltese's hair. After using the included oil before the first use on the blades, I ran the motor just like the directions stated. When I started cutting my pup, it was turning all her hair Black. I wiped the blades numerous times and it was doing the same to the rag. It took me about 20-30 minutes to scrub the grease off of the small section I cut. I contacted FLOWBEE by phone and was told that this happens because there is a coating on the blades that comes off and is noticable on cut white hair/fur. It happens to everyone that uses the product but people with darker hair won't see it. This is completely unacceptable. We purchased this because our dog has Arthritis. The 1 hour scrubbing in order to clean her of grease after the easy hair cut doesn't make too much sense. Back it goes.

This product I thought was useless!! It was imposible to get an even cut. I followed the directions to a tee. They say to use a up and down motion rather than a combing motion to let the hair get sucked into the cutters. WELL guess what it also makes the cuts choppy and uneven. It looks horrible. So I contacted the manufacture as stamped on shipping label, and guess what they charge a 20% restocking fee and return shipping so it is hardly worth the expence of returning. I was very disapointed with this product . They should be ashamed!!! I know that my dog is !!!

I love the Flowbee for my own hair. I’ve been using it, successfully, for years. Unfortunately, I purchased the pet attachment and tried to trim my Golden Retriever’s fur. The blade couldn’t handle the thick fur and immediately seized up. To bad they couldn’t make a stronger, industrial grade Flowbee for pet grooming.In short, great for people hair, bad for thick pet fur.

I have had three Yorkies and one Poodle and if it weren't for the Flowbee I would have never been able to groom them myself. I have used the Flowbee for over 10 years now and gone through 2 of them. They work absolutley wonderful on straight haired dogs. I kept my Yorkies puppy cut their whole lives. I had to cut them once a month to keep them groomed. Now I have a poodle. I was concerned about using the Flowbee on a Poodle because of all the tight curles, but the vacuum sucks the curls right up into the Flowbee for a beautiful, even cut. If there's any problem with the Flowbee it might be getting your dog used to the vacuum and Flowbee noise, but that's a training problem and easily done. I highly recommend the Flowbee, whether it be a pet Flowbee or regular Flowbee, for your dog and your own hair, for that matter. I've cut my own hair with the Flowbee for years now and I love it. Sure has saved me hundreds of dollars and hours and hours of time.
