Love my breadbox! It's beautiful and I love the natural color. It wasn't that difficult to put together at all. I love that it has little holes in the back for air flow but I didn't expect it to also have a gap at the top of the big door in front. It's not a huge gap but it does concern me if a fly might get in. It hasn't happened yet, that i know about but I do worry about it when I put a fresh Loaf in there. But the airflow seems to be just perfect for my homemade sourdough and other homemade breads. I've had it for some time and forgot to review it until now. It's holding up quite nicely I don't have any other issues with it. I think it's a good value.

I bought the green box which stands out because it sort of doesn’t match my decor, but I am so proud of it that I want it to stand out for being rather rustic looking and smartly designed with its windows and the two levels. It also has a good amount of room for a small bread products-loving household. Based on the reviews I studied before purchasing, I braced myself for a battle in assembling it because I’m just a dumb blonde. While waiting for its delivery (it arrived in a couple days!) I copied and saved on my iPhone’s memo pad a few YouTube assembly links where a couple reviewers turned because the directions were said to be really poorly written. When the big day came, I started up an assembly video, but very soon I got tired of repeatedly stopping and starting it, so I pulled out the assembly instruction sheet that came with the box. I think the manufacturer got wind of the complaints and made changes because I found the textual instructions and diagrams very clear and so helpful that I didn’t need videos. Also (T.G.) the hinges were already set; the screws for the hinges are very tiny and I can imagine a lot of huge-handed clumsy-fingered Americans going nuts trying to thread those tiny things. I timed myself and found I finished assembling the bread box in only 20 minutes. Someone with better spatial skills than I have might well get it done in half the time. The company supplied a little screw driver which I used for the knobs, but I second the suggestion in the reviews to use an electric screwdriver; that was useful. They even thoughtfully supplied several extra stews (all magnetic) and an extra little wooden knob, just in case. As you can see, I was very happy with this order and have no complaints.

I bought this more as a snack storage box (crackers, open bags of chips, fruit and nut mix), rather than for bread, so I can’t comment on its performance regarding bread storage. The compartments are a little smaller height-wise than I imagined (the bottom layer is 6.25 inches and the top layer 4.5 inches), but it’s OK. I could be wrong but I’m not totally convinced this is real bamboo, as it is quite shiny and smooth and feels a little more plasticky than bamboo should feel. It does look good though and it does keep the snack area tidier. I like the clear windows, as opposed to some that have windows you can’t see through or no windows at all. We also found it easy enough to put together. At the time of writing this review, the price was $39.99, which I feel is a little overpriced compared to the many similar products on the market. Overall though, I am satisfied with the product.

I wanted to organize my kitchen a bit better and saw bread as the problem. I love to bake my own and sometimes I actually buy from the store. I studied the many choices on Amazon and finally decided on this one. I put it together myself so it wasn't difficult, and it isn't too big for my space. I was surprised that it holds a lot more than I thought it would. It is very attractive and I really do love it!

Love it! It was very easy to put together, I did it myself and I’m not a handy person. It can fit buns and a loaf of bread. Very easy to open with the lid. I’ve never had an odor issue and I’ve had this box at least a year. You could also use it to store other things like protein bars or oatmeal, etc. I’ve used it for several different things.

I’m really happy with this HOMEKOKO double layer bread box! Nice box but very frustrating to assemble, poor instructions, parts are moving while you're trying to fix them.

We bought the double-layer breadbox (in Australia). It arrived promptly. I found it easy to assemble (perhaps a bit fiddly at times) and it is serving its purpose well. I wanted our kitchen counter to look a bit neater - rather than having loaves of bread lying around. It looks attractive, is sturdy and the bread keeps well in it :)

Minor crack on wooden frame

This company deserves nothing less than a 5 star rating as the quality of design, products and customer orientated thinking was evident from the get-go. First of all the bread box was extremely welll packed and protected with four re-enforced corners for product protection. The hardware and enclosed screwdriver were thoughtfully magnetized by two small but powerful magnet buttons making the assenbly much easier. Putting it together was relatively straight forward as long as you remember to put the hinged shelf with the groove as the bottom piece. The black finish seems top notch and durable. And of course it is very functional as well as stylish. About the only caveat I have is that there should be a CAUTION / WARNING as to the presence of the tiny magnets to prevent children / pets from inadvertenly finding them, either on the parts bag or better stll on the front page of the instructions.

This product was listed very far from all products but as quality and durability it’s a high quality and love it!!! Thank you for making this product avalible and I’m glad I spotted it

I have been showing everyone that comes over this bread box. I’ve never seen one like it in the stores. Was super easy to put together. I use the top section for fruit to keep the flies off during summer and the bottom section for bread which has helped keep it fresh an extra day or so
