I'm really satisfied with this book! It covers all the most important facts of the 20th century, a real insight in our recent history.well written and a pleasure to read with the nice and simple style of the For Dummies series, I think I'll buy others like this.

Very readable and it clearly explains complicated events. An excellent primer of the 20th century.

Interesting book and easy to understand. We use it to teach 8th grade history with much success. It helps students make sense of and organize our past. I would highly recommend this book to teach history.

Great book, although a little surprised to find the book written from the UK perspective. Nice to see history from the eyesof another country.
