The rubber top is not as advertised is pictures, it has no rivet. This means you cannot use it with a dropper bottle. In picture the left is what it should be and what is in the photos, and the right is what arrived.

I prefer the glass droppers because they are easier to clean, especially if the substance you are using is oily. I have only used the bent tip for instilling an antibiotic liquid that is a bit oily in my cat's ears. I draw some up from the prescription bottle, and put back what is too much. It's easier with the bent tip and the cat tolerates it well, considering he doesn't like having it done. It's a great product and a good value. I had thought they were no longer available in glass, so I was happy to find these.

Originally, I did not wash my droppers after using my essential oils (4 droppers in all), including coconut oil as a blend. Ultimately, the droppers did not provide enough suction to be used again. Once I washed the droppers, they worked fine. The droppers are made of glass.
