Needed a distraction for the squirrels away from the bird feeders so wanted to add a corn cob feeder. Had to try this one the moment I saw it as opposed to the traditional metal cob holder. The rest of my family thought I was silly with excitement when I ordered it and they didn't think the squirrels would actually use it. Fortunately, they have really taken to the feeder and it has made for many cute moments with one or more squirrels calmly sitting on one of the benches eating corn. Some visitors will hop onto the table, but most calmly and happily use the benches.We have the model with the red umbrella, and in our Memphis heat, they actually seem to appreciate the shade the umbrella provides. :-)Super easy setup and installation. NOTE that per the instructions, you are expected to screw the vertical backboard of the table directly into a tree of your choosing, but I bet you could come up with another solution to attach the back panel to your tree if you choose to do so rather than screwing directly into your tree.You have 3 screws that you put through the bottom of the table. On these screws, you can put whatever combination of corn, umbrella, or American flag (if provided as was with ours).The little umbrella is a fully functioning version that you raise and lower. It only sits on one of the screws, so like porch umbrellas, you want to remove or at least close if you have windy weather coming through as it will blow off.The only complaint I have is that it is difficult to replace the corn cobs. On ours the screws provided to hold the cobs are threaded too small IMHO and become loose quickly so to replace the cobs, I have to go get the mini battery-powered screwdriver when replacing them as opposed to just screwing on new cobs by hand. Not a huge deal, but kinda a pain. I think replacing the original screws with say some drywall screws might make it easier and I intend to try that mod.Overall though, a super fun and cute addition to our feeder setup!

I absolutely love this feeder. It’s gets plenty of use & Beans & Squishy enjoy watching their squirrel friends from the window. They love their little corn cobs & I also got the squirrel food with it. The umbrella is not on there because when I first got it I was so excited I didn’t read directions & put it together wrong. They love their feeder & that’s all that matters.

I have many pet squirrels that come several times a day and eat at the picnic table. It’s such a great little table with some shade for the heat. I ended up adding a little dish of water with a string tied to it, so I can retrieve the dish when they knock it over and fill it back up.

I love the product, the Squirrels also loved. The little umbrella is cute but it was in the way and the squirrels did not like it - we removed and we have squirrels on daily basis. It’s also an amazing entertainment for my cats.

I bought this to put on my patio for a couple of chipmunks and it's adorable while also being functional. I like that the mini umbrella keeps rain out of where the food goes

The squirrels have been feasting at their new picnic table, but they are always knocking the umbrella off the table, and most days we just leave it down. We attached the table to a tree in our yard. I’ll see up to 8 squirrels all around the tree, taking turns getting a snack. We also have a cardinal that comes to eat too.
