Didn't even open the lock, but the case is cheap 1/8" hardboard. There is no way to fasten this to a wall where someone couldn't simply pull it off the wall with their hands. As cool and effective as the locking system might be it does not matter because the case is not at all secure.

The construction of the box is not sturdy. This is not for keeping valuables in. Secures to wall with 3 screws, screwed into the back of the box. Looks very nice and does not stick too far out off the wall. Note that the locking mechanism also requires some assembly. There are 2 override keys, and it takes 2 AA batteries.My primary issue with the product was that the instructions regarding the app aren't great. It took me a while to figure out that in order to register, first you put in your email and hit the button and it generates an email with a verification code WITHOUT LEAVING that screen. You have to go to your email and get the code and put THAT in the password box. AFTER you've created the account, then you have to go to account settings to attach a password to the account. Also, the activity record is a great idea, but it only says what type of password is being used, or which person just created a new password. When a static password is used, however, it doesn't say which password it was and there's no way to set a name to a pin so you know who's going in the box... The media could not be loaded.  Installation is pretty straight forward. The box looks and feels very solid. The dynamic password technology is very impressive. That is the same technology for most online banking business. The app generates different access codes every time. It’s so convenient. You can generate the access code thousands of miles away from office. The dynamic password tech is really top notch. At the beginning I thought the device must be linked to the internet in order to sync the access code. But the seller told me it’s offline. It’s all about algorithms. The only thing caught me off guard is the QR code location is different from the seller’s demo in the tutorial video. The device QR code sticker is located the back side of the locker instead of in the back of the battery cover. I hope the seller would update the tutorial video soon....but it is not a problem at all. It took me about 1 min to figure it out. Overall, five stars... you deserve it.

Listen this isn't the easiest box to figure out, but nonetheless I did. What I cannot figure out is how to share this box with members. From what I gather only one person can "own" the box and all others only have the box as an "air device." Anyway, this process is not explained anywhere and REALLY tedious to try to figure out. The tutorial is not up to date, the installation was easy enough and will do what I want it to, but wish the app was more intuitive.

The box itself is not too badly constructed. Has a heavy cardboard back and would expect it to be the same material as the rest of the box. My big issue is I cannot get the app to work to register and start using the keypad. I would return this item if I could. I missed the return window because I wasn't able to set it up right away after delivery. After 2 months I was able to set it up and found this issue. The app is integral to this functioning.

Adapted to many different functions or activities, this smart lock works with bluetooth, WIFI and with a key. Ideal for companies, home uses, rental properties and many many more. Easy to assemble and put it to work.

I rated an overall 4, but a 2 star on sturdiness. The backing, the actually back that you attach to the wall is pressboard. This is very easy for someone to knock off the wall and it would then allow access to the entire inside.

The media could not be loaded.  It is very easy to install and easy to use by the phone app.
