Q: Could a cat lay comfortable in this bed?

It depends how big the cat is. The cat has to be small and will fit in the upper tray. I would not recommend this for a cat.

Q: Is there a way to get the storage drawers for underneath the bed for the white bed? They seem to come with the rose and gray colors.

Q: how tall is the bunk bed when used without the single bed?

Thank you for your question. The dimensions of the double bunk only are 22 inches L x 12 inches W x 15.75 inches H with 3.25 inch clearance off the floor. With the single attached to make the triple bunk, the measurement is 22.25 inches L x 12 inches W x 23.5 inches H.
