Very smooth almost flat wound black coated bass strings at a great price, these are now my favorite string and a lot more affordable than my usual "Rotosound" strings. I fitted these strings to my Fender Jazz 4 string and Musicman Stingray 5 string basses and absolutely love them. Highly recommended..!

I always keep backup/replacement strings, and this was one of them I finally used this for my 5 string bass few days back, and guess what. All of them are dull and dead, worse than the strings they were replacing. I never have this problem buying this set of strings from local music shop. No more buying DR strings from amazon and this seller for me.
