Braun Multipractic Hand Blender

It doesn't work, doesn't make anything soft,smoth,evething came in little pieces, but not make good salsas, no good shakes nothing

I own the Braun Multipractic hand blender, and it is dangerous to use in a pot. I received it as a gift. I assumed it would be much like other products, but it is flat on the bottom. This causes it to suction-cup to the bottom of the container - which the first, and only time I used it, happened to be a pot of freshly boiled soup I wished to puree. I generally use my blender, but it was not working at the time. Well, this immersion blender suctioned to the bottom, and when I tried to move it, it popped off and ended up spraying me with hot soup. I have been scared to use it that way, since. I have the model with the food processor kit, too. The food processor works well, otherwise.Most newer immersion blenders have a wavy or scalloped edge to prevent it from suction-cupping to the bottom - I do not have a chip on my shoulder - I generally believe Braun products are quality. I just wouldn't want anyone else to be surprised as I was.

Have had mine for years and comes in handy when canning tomatoes for sauce. You are the one that controls the speed. Love mine!!!
