A few years ago I bought a sicce brand pump. Now almost every critical workhorse pump I buy is by sicce. If I were to count I might have 6 or more by this company. Never a problem I have had with any. They are very well made. I used this skimmer pump to replace a bad Rio pump on a Super Skimmer 220. Had to upsize the air inlet tube though from standard airline size to about 5/16ths. To get it to work better. A venturi should really be included at this price. It works almost as perfectly as old pump size with some diy parts. Kind of wished I got the psk1200. Even better would probably be a 1100 size if they made it.

Very strong.. But did not come with "any" attachments... There was no suction feet, no stand at all.. The base you see is rounded! Also no fittings for the output nor the intake.. So that means no air hose to create bubbles.. So you'll have to BUILD parts to fit your protein skimmer. Pretty useless except to move water fast.

I bought this pump to replace my old 2500, it works really well. Maybe even better then the 2500. Virtually silent, I am getting some noise from my air hose. I didn't see nearly the foam volume from the old pump. I am using this on my orca systems skimmer which is a monster. I think it's rated 200-800gal.
