So happy I made this purchase. My family is not really what I would call a toaster crazy family. When my wife and I got married, we registered for a nice toaster. It lasted us 11 plus years and we never had a second thought about it. I mean, it's a toaster right? It can make toast and take a regular bagel and make it awesome... so I was happy. Sadly it died on us one day. I thought we could go buy a new one and we'd be happy. Boy was I wrong. I purchased 2 other toasters in less than 2 years, both were decent name brand toasters. Both crapped out on my quickly and didn't really even toast all that well when they were active. I'm not sure when building a quality toaster became so hard, but something happened where quality and durability just don't matter any more. I read all the reviews, I compared all the prices. For my budget, I thought this looked like the best option. I have 2 young kids and a wife. So, on any given week our breakfast choices change 10 times over. Toast, a bagel, waffles, pop-tarts..... we use it more often now then the past. This WAS the right product for us. Nice features, even toasting, a nice count down feature, easy to use heat settings, all add up to a great appliance. I really like that it doesn't pop up violently... it plays a nice tone instead. Also, you can list the handle to raise you bread out even higher to avoid any contact with the metal. Also very nice with smaller breads like small bagels and English muffins. I went with the stainless option because it looks nice and matches my kitchen. I noticed my work has almost the same exact toaster in our break room, just in white. That thing gets used probably 50 times a day and works like a champ. If you are on the fence like I was, you have done your research like I did, and this is one of your options.... go for it. I think you'll be happy you did.

I've gone thru several toasters that I really didn't like, but I finally found one I like. Here is a list of a few things I like about this toaster: 1. Easy to read buttons and settings. Simple to use. 2. All the functions works as they are supposed to. 3. Bagel function only toasts on the inside coils, so the outside of bagels, hamburger buns, English muffins, etc. don't get crispy and hard. 4. The slot sizes easily fit waffles, bagels, hamburger buns, and most other over sized items I've tried. 5. Makes toast very fast. 6. Looks very nice and is easy to clean. At this point, the only thing that isn't great is that it has hot spots - like every other toaster I've had, but not too bad. Overall, I'm happy with this toaster and I would definitely buy it again.

Have been using the toaster for a couple weeks now. It makes great toast, and has a bagel setting that only toasts on one side if you want. (We go through a lot of bagels sometimes.) The countdown LED display is nice, but not really needed. Also, it beeps when the toast pops up, sounds exactly like when the coffee maker is done brewing. It has one flaw that give me pause. The primary thing you need to do with a toaster is push down a handle so the bread drops into the slot and the heat comes on. The handles, or rather the levers that handles are attached to are very flimsy stamped sheet metal. When you push the handles down, they flex and twist bit because you need to push fairly hard to make them lock down. Especially the right one, it feels like it going to bend before it locks. Will try to remember to come back and update the review if it actually breaks.

I have grown weary of toasters that have near invisible settings on the knobs. Not that it mattered much, the dang things refused to do the same thing twice unless it was the wrong thing. I wasn't impressed by the weight of this toaster when unboxing it. It seemed too light to be very sturdy. Not what I expect from Cuisinart. Other than that we love this toaster. The LCD screen is bright and easy to adjust. A #4 setting delivers absolute perfect toast every time for me toasted evenly on both sides. It also performs well with my wifes gluten free breads which are sometimes refrigerated. Popup is MEH. We will see how the springs hold up over time. We have not used the push button functions. The only one that we may ever use is the bagel setting so I cannot testify on their functionality. The cord length is adequate. The crumb tray removes from the back which is not optimal. The main takeaway is I never thought I would actually say, "Wow! This is really good toast!"

It is worth the money you pay for it! It has various options and easy to use! It toasts up to four slices at a time!

I bought this last summer of 2022 and have barely used it! My diet changed and I didn’t eat toast for a long time! I should have written this last year, but hesitated because I like Cuisinart products very much! The problem that I constantly had was the toasting was very bad. It was either too light or too dark! I adjusted over and over with the different numbers of toasting and that didn’t help! I could never get a piece of toast evenly done—either too light or too dark or burned! I checked the coils and saw that some didn’t burn at all! Every piece in the pair of slots was uneven! I tried each of the special toasting programs and still had trouble! I know it is too late to complain and get a substitution, but in going over my orders, I saw where I could still send in a review! I researched all the best toasters and of course they were expensive! I figured that I had used Cuisinart products in the past, so I couldn’t go wrong with a toaster! That is why I bought it! Being elderly and semi-invalid, I could get no one to help me send it back! Living alone is a big hassle! I therefore wish to warn anyone not to buy this toaster. I know that a lot of buyers have bought products that they received that were Lemons and in returning them were completely satisfied with the newer product! I can’t say that, but I just want to caution anyone about this toaster and be ready to turn it back if it is defective!

Updated Oct 2022, after now 4+ Months, changed my Opinion.. Poor Toasting Quality Read On. I have added two more videos I can not recommend for regular slice bread toasting.. and not sure it would be any better for thicker slices.. as I experimented with that as well , didn't seem to make a difference. We spent a lot of time looking at reviews. We chose this toaster because of features and claims by others how well it made just pain bread toast as well that we could toast 4 slices vs. 2 at one time.. The features are nice and good. However, as far as toasting bed.. Poor results.. have to use the highest setting #7, once pop up, have to Flip the toast over to get the other side. See Video,.. however the reason it does not do so good with Thin Slice toast because the SLOTS are so wide the Elements Air Gap.. if a Texas Toast wide or Bagel it would toast Well, Also if You Pre-Heat the toaster in advance, because the Energy Heat at first is being Absorbed into the Toaster itself, so Pre-Heat it, then put your Thin Slice toast normal wonderbread type will do better and you will not have to toast twice. First setting you see in Video is 7 the highest, then after it pops up , I did it again at setting 3. You will see in the Video the results of both.. This is about a total 5 minute Video to do this.. All in all it is a nice toaster, we like the features. Just disappointed we have to toast Thin Slice Bread Twice, vs. Thick Slice. it is because of the Wide Gap for Thicker Bread that causes the problem. Would give it a higher rating otherwise.. So what we learned since we use 98% normal thin slice toast.. Would have purchased a Narrow Toast Gap vs. this version .. with the Wide Openings. Its a good toaster. But not so good for thin sliced bread. I do not recommend, after using it 4+ months..Disappointed Not worth the money, unless your just wanting appearance or a boat anchor, But as a toaster.. poor results for regular toast.. slices. have to toast Always twice and its always Uneven..

This toaster arrived in very good condition and it was packed very well. I really like this toaster because it toast 4 slices of bread, which is great for sandwiches. The toaster does a good job in toasting my bagel, which really pleases me…I can’t say much more because it is a Cuisinart. shirley40

Très bon grille pain. Il est possible d’enlever la sonnerie à la fin lorsque les rôties sont prêtes. Facile à nettoyer. Je recommande.

Nous sommes très heureux de cet achat, le grille-pain fonctionne à merveille et le grillage est uniforme et rapide. Le bouton de réglage de degré de brunissement est simple à utiliser. Je suis très satisfaite de mon achat car il est performant, facile à utiliser et j'aime bien le look simple.
