Beautiful hatchet but needs a little work before use
Teak wood handle. Can't tell if it is real teak but the wood is beautifully stained. The Camillus logo is burned into the handle and head has some nice decorative touches.Out of the packaging the hatchet is dull as a club. Used a lansky puck to and a few minutes of elbow grease to add a little edge. The crowned edge profile is really a huge convex and gives the hatchet better edge retention. The top of the head is wide and tapers down towards the bottom of the head where you can get sharp edge as can bee seen in the pictures. This hatchet is meant more for splitting wood with the factory profile. If I wanted to cut logs I would use my Fiskars instead of this.Bottom line. Most probably the factory profile will not be satisfactory. This isn't a bad thing. It is perfect if you are willing put in the work to grind the exact profile you want. You can always take off material but you cannot add it back and make a narrow profile wider.

Is it. sold at a gas station. Dull can be. Hard to sharpen, don’t waste your money
Haven’t thrown it yet but it’s dull and come in a cheap package. Nice handle I guess. Good luck

Pretty Perfect and good price comparatively.
Nice. Lite. Good Finish. If it’s Teak it’ll Last.Good size to carry and do whatever needs done. The matching sheath sold separately is equally as good quality but a really tight fit right off the bat which is probably a good thing because it’ll break in. The first time you put together leave back snap snapped and just force the axe in. If you try to snap it afterwards you’ll be putting $$ in the swear jar.

Hacha Camillus TECA, NO LA RECOMIENDO
