Very good for bird bird
This food is really good for your bird it’s not straight food though you’re just supposed to sprinkle it on top of their food but it is really healthy for them and I definitely recommend it

Excellent Food
For many years I used Volkman's Featherglow egg food but it became difficult to source. I ordered this and found my birds loved it even more. I have 12 birds and most of them eat and prefer Higgins' products over any others'. This is highly recommended.

It's Higgin's- you can't go wrong!
I wish my budgies didn't like this stuff so much. They probably wish I didn't manage their diet which includes a limited supply intake... I have a lot of birds and I would usually buy an industrial sized bag (i dont know the brand) from my bird store but I was in a financial pinch and needed to get by for a week. This bag got me through twice my expectations and they LOVED this substitute. Because I buy in bulk usually I expected to pay roughly double but this amounted by weight to an even better value, so a win for me and my burbs! I've never had a problem with Higgins, except for some of their max packaging available. Their quality and consistency hasn't ever let me down when I had a smaller nest.

Stinky and crumbly but likely still good?
Stinky. Not sure if my birds are eating it because I mix it in with their seed mix. This stuff is crumbly and stinky though.

My budgie loves this!
Great food, smells fresh when you open the package. My budgie gets excited when he sees the bag, he knows good stuff is coming. I always keep a bag of this on hand.

Our birds love this
We always bought the smaller bags from local pet shop but bought this bigger bag for a better deal. This helps us with the parent birds who try to pluck their babies feathers. After giving to parents, they started plucking a lot less plus this gives them protein in their diet.

Quality!
The Budgie Boys, we are 7, fight over this treat. I love that you can serve dry. So nutritional for them. They also need this during molting time. High quality.

Terrible smell compared to other products..
The product smelled rotten. Can't trust this brand anymore. I had been buying Higgins for over a decade too.
