Love this camera. My colleagues at work all admire the quality of my picture. I'm way clearer than everyone else after getting this. It really is an amazingly clear picture! I would highly recommend.It does have a pretty wide view, so if you're trying to limit background visibility this may not be for you. I wouldn't call it a negative feature, but in some cases it may be.

I have returned this item as I required a Windows Hello cam function and realized so after purchase.

I have not fully tested this webcam yet. So why this review?Well, it is kind of stupid, but I have never had a webcam, and I did not how know how it was mounted on a computer monitor. I thought there might be adhesive tape, clamps or something. I have only had cameras built into a laptop or chromebook.Instead, the webcam just kinds of gently clamps on the computer monitor itself. Eventually, I figured this out myself. D'uh, I guess. Mock me if you want, but most of us do stupid things sometime.But did Asus respond when I contacted them with this problem? No. No response at all.I think simply that Asus provides zero support for the webcam they sell. For that reason, I give it three stars. For a device like this, you should be told in advance that there is zero technical support after you have purchased the device. Either it works, or you just return within 30 days of purchase.On the other hand, maybe a seller as big as Asus should actually answer requests. I think they should.

Supposed to be plug and play. Plugged it in to both my computers. Neither sensed the camera nor did the "on" light on the camera ever come on. Should've just went up to Best Buy and bought one. Now I have to go through the pain in the @ss process of returning it.

Having used the product for a few hours (so far) and comparing it against other webcams in my household, including phone cameras, I can say this device is most likely not worth it unless you have a very constant lighting environment, use it in low light, or want a barely decent camera that only has a higher resolution than the budget Logitechs.The area in which I sit has an array of windows, which this camera does not accommodate well. I've noticed that when left to automatically adjust its exposure, it will typically prefer to underexpose the user. This usually leaves the user looking dark. I don't need people seeing out my windows, I need them seeing me lol. Along with this, the white balancing is not at all good - typically leaving the user under a very strong blue tint in overhead lighting conditions. This could be because my lights are a warmer tint - but overall it's a bad look and even the cheapest Logitech webcam does better at white balancing.Using OBS I was able to adjust some settings, such as the white balance, but the white balancing controls are so bad, I believe it's just tinting the feed... What baffles me more is that when toggling the auto white balance back on, it makes the feed even more blue than what I could even set at the lowest! I'm not sure if this was an OBS limitation or not, there is no control software or custom drivers available for this device from ASUS.One thing I really liked though was how it performed in low light. On a typical night I will have some RGB lights pretty low, and a desk lamp to the side that only casts a sidelight on my face. With this camera, I was completely visible in a good capacity (given that it was somewhat grainy - but with how well it was lighting up me and the area it is acceptable). This also included decent color reproduction as well! One con of it though is that if you have any bright lights on your face (like a ring light), it will not adjust to make sure your face is in focus, it will simply leave your face overexposed.Otherwise, with very specific nitpicks, the resolution of the feed is good. 1080p at 30fps is more than enough for most users of this device. I do not like how wide the field of view (FOV) of the camera is, I didn't realize that this was meant to have such a wide FOV before purchasing. To each their own if the wide FOV is good or not, I don't like having the entire room behind me visible while using my camera. The tilting of the camera was nice, and worked exactly as expected with full tilt motion. I didn't test the microphone as I use my dedicated microphone instead.Also opening the box it had a very weird smell, I want to say it was like a chemical smell, and it was not pleasant. I wanted to like this camera, but for a little under $40 it did not meet my expectations & I'll most likely be returning this.

This camera works perfectly and has a great image, but the lens feels too wide for zoom calls. I feel like I always have to sit really close to the camera to get a head and shoulders shot. And then, being that close, some lens distortion is apparent.

Camera doesn't work with clear picture in video. It skips a lot like it has a gliche issue

A diferencia de la mayoría en el rango de precio, está es 1080p con una apertura de cámara más amplia. El gran plus es el micrófono. No es la gran calidad, pero suficiente para las reuniones; eso sí, no tiene sistema de cancelación de ruido así que es un punto a considerar.Si pueden conseguirla con descuento aún mejor ya que se eleva su relación calidad-precio

Worked first time and every time - on Windows with video conferencing software. The picture was great - I don't use the audio functionality.

zoomやちょっとした動画撮影に使うのであれば、全く支障ありません。このクラスのカメラにあまり高画質を求めるのは酷というものでしょうし。台座も三脚などへの設置も考慮されていて、角度が結構柔軟なので便利だと感じました。お値段相応で良いと思います。できれば、もう少し価格が上がってもよいのでズーム機能を備えていただけると嬉しいです。

Tuve otras 2 de marcas genericas y con el tiempo se desconectaban, ahora con esta camara Asus es muy buena la imagen y se nota la diferencia en calidad. El precio es un poco mayor a las otras pero si vale la pena si la quieres para uso diario como clases en linea por la pandemia o trabajo desde casa. Recomendable.
