This unit took slightly longer than expected to start charging on initial startup, but the delay did not return on subsequent startups.

Bought this for a replacement for cummins 450 diamond series marine to give it a go as the one from cummins is like $1k. Other than not being painted white it is the exact same one. I installed one 3 years ago on my port. Still working fine and bought this one to replace the one that just died on the starboard. Back up and running! Cant beat the price!

They list this fitting a bunch of heavy trucks.... just be aware it is only 145 amp.

Worked well so far on my piece of industrial piece of equipment. It is rated/tested up to 190 amps @ 6k RPMs. So size the pulley correctly for your application. The motor mine is attached to runs a 3k max so I put a small pulley on it. I ran it as a single wire hook up. It will run 15.5 volts with no battery attached. Runs around 14.3 when one is.

Bought this because of the good rating . Well. This new alternator only makes 11 volts.. basically a 140$ piece of garbage.

2 wire setup. The old pulley was a pain to pull off but it was easy to put on this new alternator. Looks almost identical, just new. Works well, holds just over 14 volts.
