Nice mod for my 2022 KLR650 adv
A perfect mod if most of your riding is on the street. I would highly recommend this sprocket. Easy install. This mod along with the clutch bypass mod which anyone can do for free makes the 22+ model piggys a completely diff but better beast. Fits perfect. Gives you more top speed and lower rpms.

Good Fit KLR 650 Wears Fast
Lasts about 7k miles like other reviewers have said. I drove mine 10k and started seeing brown dust everywhere around my chain area at about 7k. Took a while to figure it out. Came from sprocket. Change it at 5k and it will serve well. I am buying another.

Fits KLR650 and adds the perfect amount of gearing
Highly recommend a 16 tooth sprocket for any KLR 650 that regularly sees highway speeds.

Great experience so far!
I've put about 300 miles on the bike since installing this sprocket. It fit perfectly on my 2011 Kawasaki KLR 650, and it was a simple process to change it out. I went from the stock 15t to this 16t sprocket and I can say it changed my riding experience significantly. I ride at about a 90/10 road to trail ratio, so the 16t really smooths out the road riding on my daily commute. It has dropped my cruising RPM's about 500+ and that makes things so much more comfortable. I did some research on JT Sprockets before buying and they seem to have a good reputation, and I couldn't find anything negative about the quality/durability of their sprockets. I'm very happy with this purchase and would highly recommend this to others.

Nice gear
This gear fit snugly on the output shaft and seems like its high quality. I have only put on about 150 miles since install so I can't say how long it will last but it should last a long time.

Fits 89-96 klr650 including tengai.
I bought this after buying a sunstar from MotoSport that did not have the two 8mm holes for the retaining clip on the 89-96 klr’s The Sunstar part number was correct and claimed to fit the bike on the website and on the packaging. It fit the spline but didn’t have the bolt holes. Apparently Sunstar stopped putting these in the part but didn’t change the part number. As a side note 16/42 gearing on a klr is awesome! Highway speeds are now comfortable. Every motorcyclist should own a klr with 16/42 gearing and 70/30 tires. Great commuter.
