threads are close but do not line up
The adaptor only threads 1 1/4 turns before binding up. When held against the threads on the iwata cup, the threads on the adaptor are slightly more coarse vs the threads on the cup/gun. The gun is clean (brand new) and there is zero resistance when threading the stock cup on and off.

Accessory your Iwata LPH80 needs
I love this item. Makes my Iwata LPH80 usage more enjoyable. I dont have to clean the whole gun and can out everytime. Cuts down on cleanup time and has me rolling on to do more painting.
