The build is very strong. Its stable if its anchored to the wall with the strap it comes with otherwise it would wabble a bit. So i would plan on drilling a hole to the wall. The top bunk needs a matress to the rail specifications otherwise you run the risk of potentially a safety hazard. For the price this bunk is perfect. The parts dont weigh much so its also easy to build.

We love our bunk bed! Yes it squeaks when my 4 year old is moving around on the top bunk but we're ok with that. He's gotten used to stepping over the guardrail to step onto the ladder. We have a 6 inch twin and 10 inch full. To give a buffer on the top bunk we have a rolled up blanket so his legs don't fall out, he's a roller. The height of the twin bed is just right for safety that he doesn't fall over the guardrail when sleeping.

Very sturdy and great price

Definitely a good buy. Sturdy, not horribly difficult to put together. The directions were clear. Only downside is that there isn’t space above the stairs for a small child to get in the bed easily. They have to climb over the guardrails which makes nighttime bathroom runs challenging for my little one. Outside of that, it’s perfect.

Hardest thing to assemble in the world but great once put together. Will need some help. Slat clips are oddly designed and could be made to work easier.

We bought this bump bed for our grands; we found the directions easy to follow but it took a long time to assemble the bed. The bed arrived on time, it was heavy to carry into the home (I would recommend either 2 adults carry the bed or one very strong young man!) When assembling the bed plan on at least 2-3 hours to complete the task. This bed is sturdy, no squeaks and looks nice in the room (we are waiting for our mattresses to arrive). I would highly recommend this bed for the price!

We got these for our twin 5 (soon to be 6) year olds. It took us about 2-2.5 hours to put this bunk bed together, but arrived quickly with all parts and no damage. It is sturdy, the top bunk is slightly wobbly (it's not going to fall apart or anything) and is to be expected since we got the twin over the full bed. I was a little nervous about purchasing this based on the price and some reviews but it exceeded my expectations. It's a perfectly safe bed (as long as you put it together right). All parts are labeled so it was fairly simple. I'd definitely recommend this bunk bed, there is plenty of room for our boys to grow for years to come.

I like everything about this bunk bed except the ladder to climb to upper bunk. Very painful on your foot .
