It's a great stool. A bit high for me (I'm 5'7", it's for taller people), but I've gotten used to it no problem. Besides, I use it when I go to the bank and it's high enough so I can sit and look the bank teller on the same level haha. I love to use it for meditating because it keeps my back straight and I can stretch my legs in front of me. It's stable, flexible, easy to telescope out and back in, easy to carry around, and sturdy. The fabric for sitting on is a bit stiff at first but it softens with use. I've also used it to without telescoping out the legs, instead of having to squat, when I had to clean the vacuum cleaner filter, much more comfortable. It's a great buy for me.

Sturdy Stool
Bought this cause I'm a big guy (big and tall) and those cheapies are not only too low to the ground but just don't last, and they're not exactly cheap either. Read the reviews and took the plunge. I especially like the height. I have a bad knee from an accident and can't stand too long so this stool was just what the doctor ordered. I especially like it when shopping because when the wife was looking I always find myself looking for some place to sit. This stool works just fine and allows me to take a rest easily. It appears to be well made so I can't attest to it's longevity but I expect to have it a long time. I find the seat comfortable for a stool and don't mind the fact that there is no back. It's easy to open and as long as you make sure it completely opens and hold onto one end while sitting, it provides a steady relief. I'm 6'7" and find the height perfect making getting up very easy. One thing that might be a nice addition is one or two additional holes to allow for varying the height. Maybe the manufacturer will look into that.I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Not worth your money or safety...
Not worth your time if your a bigger person... I got this item today and took it out of the box. Looked very neat and the mesh seat was made very well. However, the aluminum tubing frame was way under size and it was real flimsy as I put well under the max weight on it, not to mention that it wasn't very nice on the jublies to boot!.. Any-who, I printed out my return label and am sending it right back as I feel the quality is not up to par with the $104.99 price tag(maybe $10.99). Too much flex in the structural tubing just seemed like it would break when you needed it the most. It seems like they might be the maker of some of the cheaper walmart chairs.

Nice to finally find a portable chair/stool that's high enough. But not quite perfect yet.
This is a nice product. We're a tall family, so it's great to find something that sits high enough to be comfortable when out and about. We got the 30" version to try before possibly ordering more. We do wonder, though, why the stool legs don't have other snap lock holes at intervals along the post so that each stool can be adjusted to a variety of heights. It would be so easy for them to just add 2-3 holes per leg to create a multi-height stool. We also wonder why they sell the expensive nylon strap thing separately that makes the stool more stable and safe. Should just be included. One other design issue is the feet. The rubber feet are flat on the bottom, and are not angled to fit the angle of the stool. So, when the stool is open, only a portion of the foot touches the floor. Ours are new, so we haven't had issues yet, but it's easy to tell that just one small area of the foot will wear out and be under stress, rather than the whole base of the foot being on the floor. This actually would have been an easy issue to avoid when the product was being designed, since it's very obvious that the 'feet' don't fit the 'floor'. Even round ball feet would have worked better.

Very sturdy and very tall
The stool arrived quickly, and it seemed very sturdy. It is almost table height to me, and the height does not adjust. I bought the stool after reading reviews from other Amazon members, who said they used the stool with the legs in, but this has all the stability of sitting on an upside down pyramid; it is an incredible feat of balance that I was unwilling to attempt. So, although I am returning this Walkstool, and purchasing a smaller model, I still believe it deserves five stars. The stool is very easy to open-- much easier to open than other tripod stools that I have owned. The legs are solid and part of the same bar as the seat supports, so I can just 'whip' the stool out. The sling is lightweight, and the strap is more than long enough to accommodate my size. I am looking forward to receiving my smaller replacement stool very much.

Not so comfortable or stable
It's small and light and about the right height. We ship them with the camera tripods for conference video shoots. They are not very comfortable nor stable. You can easily fall off the thing if you are not careful and sitting in one all day is not great, though better than standing. They are made well and we have no issues with the red buttons used to adjust height.

Nice Stool, But... it is also pretty darn tall
I have only used it a bunch for photography, (for sitting comfortably in front of my tripod, and/or monopod),For me, it has been just what I wanted, very comfortable to sit on, I like it. But...be aware it is tall! I wanted a taller stool, not a chair, I wanted to be up tall where it would be easy to stand and move if necessary.( not sitting back, scrunched down in something ,where it is tougher to get out, or stand?). This 75cm stool is just what I hoped for when I made my purchase, and it has been great, It seems to easily hold my 300lbs, and feels very secure/sturdy, But... I am 6' 3" and I am still up on my toes a bit as I prepare to sit on it. That said, I am very pleased with this purchase, it is just what I wanted, and I believe it will last me for years and years to come?
