We love these grinders. They look and work great and we are really happy with them. We love to cook and when our hands are dirty or greasy, these are great because they are so easily wiped off afterwards and still look like new.We have one set in the kitchen and another on the dining room table. We have had to replace one because we broke the little plastic “screw top” which is used to adjust the grind and removed to fill the grinder. I have no idea if it was our fault or if that piece was faulty, but it didn’t happen until we had owned them for over a year. I would buy them again with no reservations. We may even get another set to grind spices.

Three for the same price others want for two. They are handsome and well finished.The action is wonderful! We use these for Himalayan Pink Salt, but we were so tired of the disposable grinders the salt came in from the big box stores.Now, instead of chunks and pebbles, we are able to just put a cloud-like dusting on our food, and with better resulting taste. We are using so much less salt, which my Blood Pressure will appreciate.They hold less than I expected, which vexed me at first, but since they do such a great job, I foresee that it will take a long time before a refill is needed.The shape is pleasing and allows for an easy but secure grip.We will now order more of these for pepper as well.++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++UPDATE ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Months later, we have ordered a second set - the fist three have all been grinding salt to powder for us flawlessly!These have turned out to be as great as we hoped!

They look nice, and work well. I like the narrow middle for a good grip. I am not sure I love the lids and not used to turning the salt and pepper shakers over to use them. I can see that the lids keep the area with the loose salt and pepper clean, but taking them on and off each time is a bit of a pain. Leaving them off in the standing position would be messy. The lids are nice looking and do come off and on easily, I just don't like the extra step. The overall quality is good, so if you want to keep your counter clean of salt and pepper, you might prefer these.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this product for several reasons:(1) very quality ceramic grinders with a knob that can easily be adjusted for fine or coarse grind (2) the steel cap on top of the grinder is a bonus! Very handy for keeping kitchen clean. I usually grind the salt right into it so I can control the amount I add to my cooking (3) the cleaning brush is nice add on but I really loved the additional pour over that once again, avoids spilling and keep the whole place clean when filling up the grinder.I personally bought the trio set, rather convenient to have one salt on the countertop, and the other on the dining table. They also look very elegant and good bed a whole gourmet feeling when having guests for dinner!

Very nice set of grinders. Appear well made and work fine. I would prefer more volume of pepper per turn, but they are quite acceptable. Adjustable grind size and ceramic cutters/crushers (whatever you call them). Can't comment on longevity but I have a pretty good idea they will be fine. Easy to fill and there are 3 of them!!UPDATE: Grinders are 2 years old now and continue to perform as they did when new. One has black pepper corns, one has multi-colored pepper corns and he third is used for Himalayan Pink Salt. Where earlier I said I couldn't comment on longevity, now I can, they have held up very well.

I am 75 yrs old and this is the first time I have ever bought salt and pepper mills so there was a very slight learning curve for me. I put course pink Himalayan salt in one and Tellicherry peppercorns in the other. I found that the adjustment wheel that adjusts the size of the granules has to be turned a good bit to make a difference in the size of the salt or pepper grains. Clockwise turn makes the grains smaller and counter clockwise for larger grains. My first shakes were like baby powder. A few adjustments later made the grains perfect for my liking. I also learned that before I turn the mill over to twist the salt or pepper onto the food I shake it first over a paper towel without twisting to remove any residual salt or pepper from previous uses. Otherwise, you will over do it. I enjoy using the mills and I really like the taste of the pepper from the tellicherry peppercorns. It makes the food very fresh tasting. I think these mills are very elegant looking also especially when filled with the pink salt and the peppercorns!

I was not expecting the quality or the large size when I opened the box. I love everything about these grinders. I especially love that you can grind fine or a little coarser just by turning the cap clockwise or counter-clockwise. Another nice feature is that you can use the cap as a measuring device by keeping the cap on while holding the grinder upside down and grinding. With a little trial and error, you can calibrate the number of twists it takes to give you a teaspoon of salt or pepper. Then remove the cap while it is still upside down and your salt or pepper is in the cap ready to add to your dish. This is the best set I've owned. My previous sets were wood and I would never have another grinder unless it was glass to see the content of what you're grinding.

Bought these shakers to add salt and pepper. They match my kitchen nicely, are easy to use and hold a good amount of product. I especially like that you can adjust the size of the grind. I have it set to a fine grind. They are easy to wipe down and are decorative when placed on the table or counter. I would purchase again.
